Terezie Kerdová Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient Diagnosed with Distal Radius Fracture Objectives: This undergraduate thesis is aimed to introduce basic information about the distal radius fracture and treatment options of this diagnosis. The practical part is aimed to compose case report of the patient diagnosed with distal radius fracture. Methods: The thesis contains a theoretical part describing basic information about the structure and kinesiology of the forearm and hand, grips, fractures of the distal radius fracture and the treatment options for this diagnosis. The special part contains anamnesis, initial examination, description of therapy units, final examination and final evaluation of the therapy's effect. The case study was made during the continuous professional practice in CLPA in Prague 9 from 10.1.2022 to 6.2.2022 Results: Thanks to the therapies the weakened muscles strengthened and the wrist's and forearm's reduced range of motion increased. Title: Case study of physiotherapy care of a patient after bilateral nephrectomy Objectives: The aim of this work is a conclusion of theoretical knowledge about autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease. Then elaboration a case study of physiotherapy care of a patient after bilateral nephrectomy because of this disease. Methods: The bachelor thesis consists of theoretical and special parts. The theoretical part contains information about polycystic kidney disease. It also deals with treatment, prognosis and physiotherapeutic methods normally used for this disease. The special part is a case study of the patient after bilateral nephrectomy, hospitalized in IKEM. This part includes a detailed description of therapeutic sessions and their results. The case study was elaborated during an internship in IKEM in time of 10. 1. 2022 - 4. 2. 2022. Results: Main results of the therapies were strengthening the muscles of lower limbs, increase in the range of motion in the hips, breathing stereotype correction and overall condition improvement. Author: Aneta Hodáňová Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient after Unicondylar Endoprosthesis Implantation of the Right Knee Joint. Objectives: The objective of this bachelor thesis is to perform a case study of a physiotherapeutic care of the patient after implantation of unicondylar endoprosthesis of the right knee joint, to guide and record individual therapies and to evaluate their impacts. Methods: The bachelor thesis encompasses of general (theoretical) and special (practical) parts. The general part outlines theoretical information about anatomy of the knee joint, unicondylar replacement and degeneration disease gonarthrosis that preceded the implantation of joint replacement. The special part describes the performed case study of the patient including the initial examination, the subsequent individual therapies and the exit examination. The important part of the practical study is the assessment of the effects of the whole therapy amid the hospitalization of the patient in the medical center Vršovická zdravotní a.s. Results: The results generally showed that the progress of all applied therapies lagged in a comparison with other patients with the same type of implantation. Title: Case study of the Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient Diagnosed with Nervus Peroneus Paresis. Aims: Gaining theoretical and practical knowledge about peripheral paresis, especially peripheral paresis of the nervus peroneus nerve. Subsequent elaboration of case study of a patient with a continuous professional practice and determination of the results of theraphy. Methodology: In the general part, the work focuses on theoretical knowledge about the anatomy of the peripheral nervous system, the clinical image of peripheral paresis and physiotherapeutic methods in the treatment of peripheral paresis.The special part of the work focuses on the case study of a patient diagnosed with paresis of the peroneus nerve and use of physiotherapeuticmethods in practice. Results: The patient, who had zero to one muscular strenght of the paretic muscules, improved to muscule strenght nuber two according to Janda, after the end of the therapy. The joint clearance around the foot, ankle joint and lower leg was restored. Elimination of most reflex changes in soft tissues and stretching of shortened muscules. Conclusion: Thanks to the cooperation of the patient and practiced physiotherapeutic methods, it was possible to increase the muscular strenght of the lower leg muscules. Title of bachelor's thesis: Case Study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of fracture of distal part of radius and proximal part of humerus Methods: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the problems of physiotherapeutic procedures of a patient with the diagnosis state after the fracture of distal part of radius and proximal part of humerus and to process a detailed casuistry of the patient with this diagnosis. The first part of the bachelor thesis is theoretical and is processed on the basis of the background research. Anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics of shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand joints are included in the first part. Furthermore, it comprises types of fractures, their treatment and particularly the physiotherapeutic procedures which can have influence on the state. The second part of the thesis is specialized and is processed on the basis of the casuistry involving therapeutic procedures in the diagnosis state after the fracture of proximal part of humerus and distal part of the radius on the left. This part consists of eight therapeutic units which were undertaken ambulatory at the rehabilitative department in the regional hospital in Kladno. Title: Case study of physiotherapy care for patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome. Objective: Summary of theoretical knowledge and the processing of study reports of patients diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome. Abstract: The thesis consists of two parts. The general section includes anatomical and neurophysiological aspects of GBS characterized by its brief history, treatment, diagnosis, and precipitating factors. A special section is devoted to a case study and rehabilitation plan for the patient. Therapy was directed primarily to improve quality of life. Title: Case Study of A Physiotherapy Treatment of A Patient with the Diagnosis of Fracture of Lateral Malleolus Aim: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to present basic information on ankle fractures and to elaborate a case report of a patient with the above mentioned diagnosis. Method: The thesis consists of two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part presents a discription of the anatomic structure and the function of the ankle joint, the kinesiology of the foot and the biomechanics of walking. Furthermore, it deals with traumatology of the ankle area focusing on fractures, diagnostic methods, treatment and physotherapy methods and on courses of action after ankle fractures. The practical part is conceived a case study. It includes an anamnesis of a patient, an entrance kinesiology analysis on the baisis of which aims and methods of the therapy were determined. The thesis presents a description of the course of the individual therapeutic units, an output kinesiology analysis and a therapy efficiency evaluation.
