Methods of object recognition for purposes of the robotic manipulation
Dalecký, Filip ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the detection issue of randomly placed unoriented objects for purposes of robotic manipulation. The first part of this paper is aimed to get acquainted with the basic methods of image processing. In the next section, a choice of the suitable method is made to create software for the rectangular shaped objects detection in NI LabVIEW. Subsequently, the robotic arm manipulator construction and related issues, such as kinematics, servo controlling, are briefly described. In the reminder of this paper, some experimental results are shown and evaluated.
Energy Harvesting for Automotive Applications
Novotný, Jan ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis goal is to get information about Energy Harvesting and subsequent confrontation of it. The Energy Harvesting technology deals with process of absorption so-called free energy and conversion it into electric energy. The reason for doing that is mostly feeding wireless sensors. When the search in this area is accomplished on bases of existing constructional principles the concrete device (generator) is designed. This system might be unlimited power source for selected automotive application.
Implementation of presentational device with Raspberry Pi
Beránek, Ondřej ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and subsequent implementation of a presentational device with Raspberry Pi using free software. The theoretical part of this thesis includes an analysis of available commercial solutions, specification of requirements, testing free operating systems and assessment of their suitability for the purpose. The practical part of this thesis is focused on the implementation of a presentational device with the most suitable free system and on the test of this final solution. The aim of the thesis is to create a maintenance-free presentational device with easy remote access.
Development of monitoring application for a production cell workspace with SICK scanners
Dostál, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis is about scanners of SICK company and monitoring methods in workspaces. Next in this thesis is described implementation of monitoring methods in robotic industry. Objective of practical part was design, implementation and to test application created in LabVIEW for monitoring workspaces. Created application contains choice of use serial communication with scanner SICK PLS 101-312 or possibility to create simulation of monitoring workspace. In conclusion both choices are tested and evaluated.
Software for processing data from the accelerometer
Zahradník, David ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of software for statistical processing of data from the accelerometer. In the first part are specify the objectives. The next part of the thesis is followed by design and creation software for statistical processing of data in real-time as well as post-processing mod. Final program is tested by using stored data from the accelerometer. At the end the functionality of the created software is evaluated. This program is created by using the programming language C #.
Analysis of walking as energy source for biomedical applications
Cieslar, Filip ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This paper deals with measurements and statistical processing of the acceleration data measured in the area of the human head. Types, principles of biomedical applications are shown, and problems pointed to its power supply. There are efforts to earn energy from surroundings of devices and extend its lifespan. Kinetic energy harvesters require such levels of acceleration for their excitation, that could possibly be obtained from human movements. 30 different people with different characteristics were thus measured during walking in order to find the common frequencies and relevant magnitudes created through vibrations during walking. Energy efficiency is evaluated using generator and use of this source to supply biomedical devices.
Virtual prototyping for machine tools
Klement, Roman ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This bachelor thesis explores the possibilities of creating a virtual prototype, which is to be understood as an advantageous approach of designing new machine tools. Different approaches regarding the afromrentioned proces are described in the research part. Following the research, a simple virtual prototype for kinematics optimisation was made.
Design of control system of two wheels mobile robot
Robenek, Vít ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design control system of a two-wheel mobile robot and to subsequently implement this system using available sensor devices and National Instruments’ Single-Board RIO platform. The introduction briefly describes the general issue of two-wheel mobile robots as inverted pendulums, followed by an overview of several existing solutions to this problem. The following describes used robot including description of its parts and its mathematical model. Then the main part of the work follows, which is design of the sensory and control system. At the end of the thesis, the implementation is described along with evaluation of the stabilization system results.
Design and implementation of a universal data logger
Vokál, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is to design universal datalogger while using .NET Micro Framewrok. The design was tested on a developing kit EMX produced by GHI Electronics. At the beginning a problematic of .NET Micro Framework is introduced to a reader. After that architecture of project and mechanism of controlling device are described.
Design and implementation of application for measured data processing
Blahút, Jozef ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the development of desktop application for the processing of measured data from aircraft engine stand. Its main aim is to simplify the analysis of obtained data, their evaluation and correlation. At the beginning of the work an issue of making applications on Microsoft Windows is discussed, followed by description of application´s architecture, its implementation and the conclusion deals with options for working with acquired data.
