Measurement of mobile network parameters
Gábor, Tomáš ; Hanus, Stanislav (referee) ; Klozar, Lukáš (advisor)
This work deals with theoretical study and practical implementation of measurement and storing of mobile network parameters and following designing an programming web interface for their presentation. IT describes structure and development of GSM and UMTS networks. It also deals with satellite navigation system GPS and measuring module Telit UC864-G, which was used for measuring. The next step was to select a group of parameters that are important for calculating the quality of the signal path and to analyze process of storing the data into the database. In the end is completely described web interface and also all applied programming languages and methods.

Doskočil, Ladislav ; Kejík, Petr (referee) ; Hanus, Stanislav (advisor)
This essay contains basic information about the UMTS system, teach-in with the programming language C++, succinct description of some technologies used by internet, specifically protocol TCP/IP, HTML and PHP language, which relate to this project. Included is also an introduction to databases systems and brief description SQL language and MySQL database system. The last part of this work describes the system design of the Active probes PMS for network monitoring and results of experimental measuring.
Control unit for 3G wireless module
Vávra, Tomáš ; Hanus, Stanislav (referee) ; Klozar, Lukáš (advisor)
This document deals with theoretical analysis of types and parameters of 3G UMTS modules. Briefly describing basic terms and principles of cellular networks and Global Position System. UMTS modules are firstly described from general point of view and subsequently there is comparison of two specific modules. Part of this document is practical design of control unit for 3G wireless module Telit UC864-G. Design starts with analysis of the module features and subsequently there is description of design procedure that begins with block diagram and ends with circuit schematic and printed circuit layout. Last part of this document describes construction of controll unit, its testing and finally even testing of module itself through serial bus RS-232 from PC with use of program with grafic interface, which have been written for this purpose.
Special checking system
Sokol, Kamil ; Slanina, Martin (referee) ; Hanus, Stanislav (advisor)
The work is about the task of control system of object’s safety. It is divided into three parts. The first part characterizes the video camera system and its function and its parameter. It also describes particular elements of video camera system, i.e. their possible version and what functions they are able to dispose of. The second part looks for suitable video camera system which fulfills defined conditions given in advance. There are three commercially sold systems and my own project in the work. In the last part of the thesis particular camera systems are compared and the best system for our recovery is realized.
Models of Control Channels in the LTE System
Kapitola dále popisuje tvorbu simulátoru koexistence LTE a systému Wi-Fi v přeneseném pásmu ISM 2.4GHz.
LTE system models
Navrátil, Petr ; Masopust, Jiří (referee) ; Hanus, Stanislav (advisor)
Master’s thesis is focused on part of mobile network named LTE. Project is analyzes the LTE physical layer, which is divided into four basic parts: Physical channels and modulation, Multiplexing and channel coding, Physical layer procedures, Physical layer measurements. Every part is described by actual 3GPP standard [1]. To understand the problem is expected a reader basic knowledge of OFDM systems, which the LTE system uses. The next part of this master’s thesis is dedicated to mathematic model physical layer of system LTE, created by program Matlab. This model is designed to measure errors in data transmission.
T-Speed Test for UMTS System
Šmíd, Jan ; Kejík, Petr (referee) ; Hanus, Stanislav (advisor)
The thesis deals with adding new parts to program for measuring data rates in mobile communications. New program parts are used for analyzing web pages and HTTP protocol, recieving position data from GPS reciever and for creating automated measuring sequences.
Testing of mobile networks with help of ROMES program
Klein, Vojtěch ; Miloš, Jiří (referee) ; Hanus, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis examines the posibilities of programe ROMES by Rohde & Schwarz for testing mobile telecomunication systems. Thesis is focused on active and recently implemented systems GSM (Groupe Spécial Mobile), UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunication System) LTE (Long Term Evolution).
Ultrasonic distance meter
Kančo, Vít ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Hanus, Stanislav (advisor)
For contactless measurement of distance can be used for example infra-red, supersound or laser. In this project is used ultrasonic measurement . Characteristics of system are dependent on parameters of ultrasonic sensor (accuracy, range, radiating characteristic, operating frequency).
Mobile internet principles
Jehličková, Lenka ; Fencl, Josef (referee) ; Hanus, Stanislav (advisor)
Thesis concerns with mobile communications theory with focus on data transfer. In the introduction the history, the origin and individual mobile systems generations are described. It is followed by detailed description of second, third and fourth generation mobile systems. Frequency band allocation, signal processing, the system architecture itself, security management and basic features are also discussed. The GSM system is described together with individual data transmission types based on circuit switching – CSD and HSCSD and packet switching – GPRS and EDGE. For UMTS, FDD and TDD modes are listed as well as changes in individual releases, corresponding technologies and provided services. Next, there is the description of LTE and WiMAX systems, together with their improvements whose are part of the fourth generation of mobile systems. Last of the described systems is the still work in progress HAPS, also known as the system of stratospheric platforms. In the end important parameters are summarized and systems are compared with each other.
