Simulation of a robotic snake model
Janus, Peter ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the creation of a simulation of robotic snake model, which is then verified on a demonstrational task. In the first part of the thesis there is a brief search of knowledge about biological snakes and their movements. Second, practical part, describes the creation of snake model, programming methods and functionality of the model. Last part is aimed at evaluating the results, from which conclusion is made.
Design of a robotic snake model
Pollák, Jakub ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to create a simulated robotic snake and its motion analysis followed by its testing on the simple tasks and subsequent evaluation of the obtained results. The first part of our thesis summarises the knowledge about biological snakes and the usage of robotic snakes in robotics. The second part deals with the description of the unique design and construction of a robotic snake. The last part is concerned with testing of the limits and overcoming obstacles from which the conclusion is drawn.
Acceleration of grammatical evolution calculation using the "Kernel trick" method
Kučerová, Anna ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Ošmera, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describing evolutionary algorithms, specifically grammatical evolution, which is implementing in optimization software PonyGE2. Further describes the principle of the kernel trick.
Measuring of height liquid level
Koksa, Martin ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis seeks to clarify and describe modern methods of measuring a liquid level. The topic is discussed from several points of view, from which the emphasis was put on the division according to usage in hydropower. Moreover, this thesis portrays the fundamental principles of hydroelectric power plants and sensors used in them.
Arduino/RPi weather station
Rolný, Jakub ; Šoustek, Petr (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
The content of the work is the design and creation of indoor and outdoor weather station, which can sense the required quantities using sensors. The measured data of the outdoor weather station, which is powered by a solar panel and battery are monitored on the online platform Arduino IoT Cloud using the NodeMcu ESP8266 development board, which is capable of wireless communication. The indoor weather station, which is based on the Arduino Uno development board, displays its measured data via a display.
WebAssembly usage in Industry 4.0
Chvátal, Petr ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the use of the new web standard WebAssembly. In the text of the thesis are described the technologies for web browsers and their use. Furthermore, are described the programming languages that support the WebAssembly web standard. Finally, the thesis presents the implementation of an application in this environment and the translation of an application written in C++ into WebAssembly using the Emscripten tool, evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of using WebAssembly over older web standards.
Neural network for style transfer
Kadlec, Filip ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis we describe machine learning, types of artificial neural networks and internal processes of neural networks, such as feedforward data processing and training neural networks. We are also pursuing comparison and description of libraries (such as TensorFlow and Keras), which are suitable for neural networks implementation. In the practical part of thesis, we are dealing with problem called artistic style transfer with convolutional neural network.
Design of Microrobots –wing set
Konečný, Mikuláš ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
The bachelor thesis tries to briefly describe research of methods, systems and diverse components practically used in the design and production of microrobots. The following part of the thesis is based upon a design and fabrication an enlarged and simplified model of wings and flight apparatus of a flying microrobot inspired in the world of living insect. The last part consists of description of potential methods of control and piloting.
Design of Irrigation System for Home
Němec, Václav ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Šoustek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement an Arduino-based home irrigation system with the ability to view and control the system through a graphical user interface. Individual components, communication were selected and control programs were created. The design was adjusted to a particular object. The solution was developed using the Arduino IDE development environment, where controlling programs for individual modules were created. A web server was created to view, control and collect data using the Flask framework in the Python programming language with the PostgreSQL database. This system was tested on a test system and demonstrated the desired and correct behavior.
Robotic snake locomotion
Tran, Duc Viet ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on creation of a simulation model of a snake-like robot, which is then tested on a demonstration task. First part of the thesis is dedicated to a brief analysis of basic snake locomotion and aplication of acquired knowledge in bionics. After that follows practical part, in which a snake-like robot koncept is developed and the models are then subjected to simple tests in simulation software. Final part of the thesis deals with processing of knowledge and acquired values, from which conclusions are then made.
