Deep Neural Networks for Reinforcement Learning
Ludvík, Tomáš ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to use deep neural networks for task in reinforcement learning. I use my modification of 2D game Tuxánci for the purposes of the test environment. This modification provides the possibility of using the game as an environment for machine learning. Subsequently, Iam solving the task of learning the agent by using reinforcement learning with the Double DQN algorithm.
Application for Microsoft HoloLens with Use of Mobile Phone
Stano, Matej ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on usage of Microsoft HoloLens head-mounted display for augmented reality and its connection and communication with mobile phone in order to control the hologram. Phone, which uses its motion and position sensors, such as accelerometer or gyroscope, to produce necessary data, represents a wireless controller. Based on this information hologram created by HoloLens is moved or rotated. Communication between devices is maintained through an internet connection. Two separate applications were implemented, each for one of the devices. Mobile app that sends data from sensors to the headset. HoloLens app that processes received data and controls holograms. The result is simple augmented reality game.
Short Multiplayer Minigames
Woska, Adam ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Chlubna, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a game demo that contains short mini multiplayer games. Unity 3D and Photon Engine were used to implement the demo. The demo consists of three separate mini games. Another content of this work is the research and analysis of games of similar genre. The design of the application and its implementation is also described in this thesis. The result of the work was then tested by real users.
Indoor Navigation in Augmented Reality
Rainoch, Oliver ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
This paper presents the use of augmented reality for indoor navigation. The aim is to create a mobile application with elements of augmented reality for user guidance. Visual markers and SLAM technology are used to determine a position. The resulting application is implemented utilising the ARCore library and the Unity game engine. The users scan the marker, selects the room which they are looking for, and are guided to the destination by map and an arrow in augmented reality. The current application aids the user in finding a room the need efficiently and with ease. Testing of the user experience and experiments with the resulting application took place in the building of the Centrum Univerzita Tábor with six participants. The same mechanics can be used for navigating users in various large environments ranging from schools and companies to warehouses.
Automatic Construction of a Terrain Map by a Drone
Zaviačič, Tomáš ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The thesis describes a tool for the auto-creation of a map of an area mapped by a drone. The mapping is done by systematically taking aerial images of the Earth’s surface. The acquired images are then processed using the proposed methods discussed in this thesis. The first method is based on positional metadata in each image and the remaining two procedures perform image analysis using computer vision algorithms. These methods are implemented as a Python code utilizing the OpenCV library, Numpy and Exif. During the experiments, the proposed methods were applied to the custom datasets. The input to the tool is the images, which are processed using one of the proposed methods to produce the output map.
Editor of Cooperative VR Environment
Schneider, Michael ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this work is to create an editor in the Unity game engine, in which you can easily set up a world for virtual reality.    The work introduces current VR technologies and their limitations. The thesis deals with the design and implementation of a VR application in Unity, including the necessary plugins. The solution also includes VR multiplayer, which allows you to create a world with other VR players. For such an application to work, it was necessary to create complex space management systems, create a server implementation that supports a client controlled by virtual reality and interaction systems, so that the world around the players remained interactive.
Visualization Tool for a Drone Sqadron Commander in VR
Sladký, David ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
The goal of this work is to design functions and user interface in VR for drone squadron commanders so they can faster and more effective command a drone mission. I implemented these function and user interface into already existing application DroCo for drone piloting with use of augmented virtuality. Because of this commander can create camera shortcuts in virtual environment, which can be teleported to or preview their feed and observe the course of current mission from different locations. At the end I also implemented user interface, that provides fast overview about all camera shortcuts and drones.
Generating Terrain with Animated Water Surface in Unity
Mobile Application "Paramedic doggy" - Brain Stroke
Rosinská, Monika ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to create educational application for kids in age 7-10 years on the topic first aid for brain stroke. Application was developed for operating system Android by using Unity game engine. The game was developed while taking into account psychology, emotions and educating children, and it's using gamification. Children who played the game are able to recognize the symptoms of brain stroke and know what to do in similar situations. Benefits of this application are that children can give first aid and call ambulance if needed. They can also recognize the symptoms of brain stroke.
Interactive Augmented Reality Demo with Haptical Feedback
Drexler, Filip Emanuel ; Chlubna, Tomáš (referee) ; Bambušek, Daniel (advisor)
Objective of this thesis is to connect functionality of devices Stratos Explore and Hololens 2. This means to create virtual object that is going to be displayed by virtual reality as a hologram. When the hologram is touched, user is going to feel haptic feedback because of ultrasound waves. Output of this thesis are applications for Stratos Explore and Hololens 2 which communicate together using network communication. User can resize, move and rotate the ball hologram in one application or can repel the ball by hand to squash bugs that move on ground in mini game application. Ball in this applications has haptic feedback.
