Commercialization of residential buildings
Karásek, Jiří ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Hanák, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of commercialization of residential buildings. The theoretical part introduces the idea of the business cycle and its relation to economic crises. The theoretical part of this thesis also deals with the area of development and related financing and marketing development projects, which is applied subsequently to the practical part for the particular developer's residential project. In addition to the application of this theoretical knowledge is the analysis of a questionnaire survey among residential developers, which is the basis for analyzing the possibility of effective commercialization of residential development projects in the post-crisis period at different stages of the business cycle.
Applications of Fibonacci numbers in economy - Elliott Wave Principle
Rusyniak, Martin ; Karásek, Jiří (referee) ; Klaška, Jiří (advisor)
The Elliott wave principle, as a technique for prediction of price movements, combines knowledge of Fibonacci numbers, golden ratio and crowd psychology. This method replaces price fluctuations with waves, amongst which it is finding relation to the golden ratio. In the introduction of this bachelor thesis, we are going to have a look at Fibonacci, his integer sequence and theoretical description of the Elliott wave principle. The core of this thesis is explanation of basic strategy on five-wave pattern and later, swing breakout strategy and 3-swing pattern. All of these strategies are presented on real-world examples with explanation of analogy and nuances. These strategies were explained as factual usable algorithms with clarification of all properties. Concept of algorithm for the application of breakout strategy and its flowchart is included in matching chapter. After that follows insight into problematic of spirals as a method uncovering another options for use of the golden ratio for analysing price movements.
Fundamentals of quadratic fields
Ivičič, Vojtěch ; Karásek, Jiří (referee) ; Skula, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to describe the fundamentals of quadratic fields. In the first part integer and polynomial arithmetic is mentioned. The main part discusses the topic of quadratic field, quadratic integer, Gaussian field and Gaussian integer. The final part deals with quadratic fields without unique factorization and a solution of the problem through ideals.
Minimalization of Boolean functions by means of Quine-McCluskey's method
Niedoba, Pavel ; Karásek, Jiří (referee) ; Skula, Ladislav (advisor)
This work is concerned with minimalization of Boolean functions by means of Quine-McCluskey´s method with application of the method of prime implicants for obtaining the minimal form of the function and with minimalization using an equi\-valence. Another part of the work is an application implementing these minimalization methods.
The use of Computers in the Number Theory
Konečný, Zdeněk ; Karásek, Jiří (referee) ; Skula, Ladislav (advisor)
PARI/GP is a relatively obscure mathematical software that was designed especially for quick calculations in the number theory, but which has also found its application in other areas of mathematics. This work gives an overview of the basic commands of PARI/GP, and some simple examples to show their potential use. PARI/GP is then used for looking for large primes of special forms.
Graph theory and its applications
Huclová, Alena ; Karásek, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
It is often necessary to be oriented in the complicated relations between parts of a unit. This problem can be solved by the graphs’ theory very well. Graph G is an ordered pair (V,E) where V is a non-empty set of vertices (our parts of the unit) and E is a set of two-element subsets of the set V called arcs (i.e. relations between parts of the unit). G= (V,E) The graph aplication is frequently hidden. It is not found in the solution of the problem, but could be used to express and substantiate it quite easily. In my work I will deal with optimization problems of a graph. Problem of the maximum network flow that we solve using directed graph can be an example. As for non-directed graphs, we will be interested in the search of a minimum frame of a graph.
Housing market and its financing in Zlín
Karásek, Jiří ; Dvorská, Michaela (referee) ; Ivanička, Koloman (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the housing market (market for flats) and their financing in the city of Zlin. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explores basic concepts of living and state concepts of living for the next 8 years. With this is related to the additional support program from the state in the living area. The practical part deals with the housing market in city of Zlín following to the new zoning plan. In conclusion is compiled the concrete financing flat by the help of building savings loan.
Stage design project Charles Gounod: FAUST
Karásek, Jiří ; David, Milan (advisor) ; Vohlídalová, Ivana (advisor) ; Glogr, Karel (referee) ; Zábrodská, Dana (referee)
In this work I compare several different conceptions of foreign opera shows with the theme of Faust in the last 30 years. This serves as well as a corner stone and criterion for practical part of my work. The shows are compared from today?s point of view, they?re confronted with presumptions and notes of theatre critics. I briefly examine opera shows in unconventional spaces. I analyse visual codes of particular performances and try to identify the motives that contribute to this kind of work. In second part I briefly introduce history of Gounod and his opera. Then I explain conception of my vision of Faust and his interpretation, going in detail for meaning and treatment of costumes and set, including brief explanation of technological concept.
