Modelling of Mechanisms for Multiple Access to Mobile Network
Tinka, Zdeněk ; Mašek, Pavel (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis „Mechanisms modelling of multi access into mobile wireless network“ is focusing the wireless network. The diploma thesis contains basic network topology of wireless standard 802.11g and utilizes key identificators of mobile node in dependency on the distance and collision controlling function for simulation purposes. In the next part of this thesis is created LTE mobile network topology, which serves for finding key identificators. In the last part is created offload topology containing both - 802.11g and LTE network. As the result are implemented offloading algorithms, which ensure data traffic switching based on comparing 802.11g and LTE key identificators. Automatically generated and shown figures providing the key statistics are the main output of this thesis.
Application for online transmission and processing of information of air traffic
Wiesner, David ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Kováč, Dominik (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the aeronautical data format AIXM and exploring possibilities for processing meteorological messages in the format WXXM. This diploma thesis describes the development of application which handles both formats. Final application can evaluate appropriate runway on the basis of meteorological information.
Mobile Application for Subjective Quality of Experience Prediction of Data Service
Červenák, Rastislav ; Kováč, Dominik (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with user satisfaction with mobile data service. The main part is devoted to the development of a mobile application that provides testing network parameters to evaluate and use online databases shared with other users. Discussed the possibility of distributing applications among users over its testing and then to the App Store.
Software tool for analysis of aeronautical data in AIXM format
Kováč, Dominik ; Vajsar, Pavel (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
Master thesis deals with the issue of the transmission and processing of aeronautical data in AIXM format. The development of the software tool for analysis of AIXM format is described in this thesis. This application parses the AIXM file and shows its content into Treeview component.
Modelling the movement of mobile stations in the OPNET Modeler simulation environment
Kuběna, Pavel ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The main topic of this master´s thesis is a practical simulation of wireless mobile networks. For this purpose, the model simulating urban enviroment in which mobile nodes move according to desgined trajectories was created. The parameters of transmitted signal and impact of obstacles in the way of propagation were examined by the simulation. Number of obstacles and type of material of given obstacle was taken into consideration.
QoS model for Mobile ad hoc network
Mašek, Pavel ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Vajsar, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis "QoS model for Mobile ad hoc network" focuses on the quality of services in MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc) networks. It describes MANET networks and covers the theoretical analysis of routing protocols with QoS (Quality of Service) support. Furthermore, there is processed the creation process of model MANET networks with the routing protocol DSDV (Destination-Sequenced Distance Vector) in the simulation environment NS-3 (Network Simulator 3) and its extension of QoS support. The used QoS model is subsequently modified to improve core operating parameters. The implementation of QoS parameters as well as the improvement of delay and jitter (the delay between selected packets) is verified by the functional simulation.
Software tool for analysis of aeronautical meteorological information in WXXM format
Vénos, Michal ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis analyze the processing of meteorological messages in XML format. There are described various meteorological reports and the developing data format WXXM. The result of the practical part is application enable to load meteorological messages in XML format and displays basic information obtained in map environment of Bing Maps.
Security of real time multimedia data transmission
Otoupalík, Petr ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with technology and security of real-time multimedia data transmission. The possibilities of the security of a multimedia data transfer and the mechanisms defined for the security of the signaling protocols SIP and H.323 are described with the view of security. The possible attacks on the real-time transfers are also mentioned. The basic requirements on the safe and reliable data transfer are specified. The main part of this thesis is focused on the security analysis of the data transmission of the selected communication clients, which use different security methods. The last part of the thesis deals with realization of simple attacks on multimedia data transmission and also on the SIP protocol.
Network protocols used for management and QoS assurance in data networks
Macura, Miroslav ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The main aim of this work was to compare network protocols used for management of active elements of the IP network and to assure QoS in data network. The bachelor work in detail describes especially SNMP protocol and possibilities of assuring quality of services in data networks. This works primary goal it to compare and analyze different versions of SNMP. The next aim of this work was to learn about structure and characteristics of the MIB database for DiffServ technology. This work studies definition of the MIB for the DiffServ technology and do the basic analyze of these MIB branches. Subsequently in programming language C/C++ create modules for creating queues. The type was First In First Out (FIFO), Priority Queuing (PQ) and Weighted Round Robin (WRR), which are used to sort packets in database DiffServ MIB. This modules are programmed with reference to his next usage in simulation environment Opnet Modeler.
Design of practical tutorials for the OPNET IT Guru simulation environment
Matzová, Martina ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of three labs in the simulation environment OPNET IT Guru. The first lab demonstrates the differences between the RM OSI transport layer protocols - TCP and UDP. The second lab discusses the role of ICMP protocol and its most famous feature - PING. The third lab is devoted to Application Characterization Environment (ACE) module, which is included in OPNET IT Guru. Theoretical background is provided for all of the mentioned topics. All designed labs can be used to teach at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication of BUT on subjects dealing with network technologies.
