Use of energetic by-products and other secondary raw materials for the alpha gypsum production
Moldrzyk, Jan ; Jiroušková, Kateřina (referee) ; Dvořák, Karel (advisor)
Thesis focus on the longterm research in an area of alpha gypsum production by non pressure method in chloride salt solutions production, which is researched by Institute od technology of building materials and components, Faculty of civil engineering for many years. The result of given research is non pressure equipment for alpha gypsum production. The scope of this research was to make a production of alpha gypsum more efficient through modification of the facility itself and through an optimalization of dehydration process. The scientific aim of this process was to compare an influence of dehydratation solutions of CaCl2, NaCl and KCl on the final product provided that molarity of solutions was at the same level.
Monitoring the impact of various technologies of grinding on the properties of Portland cement
Virágová, Tereza ; Gazdič, Dominik (referee) ; Dvořák, Karel (advisor)
The work will deal with monitoring the impact of various technologies of grinding the resulting properties of portland cement. It will monitor the economic performance of the grinding process. The study briefly summarizes current knowledge about the technologies used and the technologies potentially applicable for cement grinding. This will be the technology of the mechanochemical activation.
Reduction of CO2 emissions during firing of hydraulic binders
Stachová, Jana ; Kolář,, Karel (referee) ; Wagner,, Štěpán (referee) ; Palou, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Karel (advisor)
The thesis is focused on research and development of hydraulic binders based on FBC-ashes. It examines the possibilities of using this ash in the clinker so that the properties of the final cement are comparable to Portland cement. As an integral part of this thesis the research of emission reduction possibilities in the cement industry - a very current topic these days - is presented.
Development of Partition Gypsum Blocks
Verner, Filip ; Dvořák, Karel (referee) ; Gazdič, Dominik (advisor)
The aim of the present thesis is to investigate manufacturing of gypsum binders which are used for gypsum blocks production. In the theoretical part study of general theory of gypsum binders was done and then also summary of knowledge of gypsum partition blocks was explored, primary with respect to the norm requirements, including description of the testing methods of basic experiments. The main part presents research about manufacturing of gypsum blocks in selected international companies. The experimental part deals with optimization of current pilot production form, proposal of new recipes, making of blocks, determination of main technological properties and comparison with norm requirements. Finally recommendation for the future development in the field was proposed.
Properties of concrete with cement matrix at high temperatures
Fiala, Jiří ; Dvořák, Karel (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the behaviour of the cement concrete at high temperatures depending on the aggregate and cement type. The theoretical part describes the processes in the concrete structure at high temperatures affecting the individual concrete components. The design of concrete structure with basalt aggregate and four types of cement in the experimental part was carried out. The proof of physical-mechanical properties after thermal load was reviewed, particularly change of density, compressive strength and tensile strength in bending. The X-ray diffraction analysis was carried out with prepared test samples.
Study of the grindability of the clinker minerals
Červinková, Lenka ; Všianský,, Dalibor (referee) ; Dvořák, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with the influence of free various technological grinding processes of pure clinker minerals. The goals is to synthetically prepare pure clinker minerals and monitor the effect of the duration of the grinding process and monitor the impact of grinding technology on their crystallinity. A laser granulometry and XRD analysis are used for evaluation.
Research on the Preparation of Masonry Mortars
Koláček, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Karel (referee) ; Gazdič, Dominik (advisor)
This thesis deals with development in the preparation of masonry mortars. The theoretical part focuses on basic knowledge of mortars, individual types of mortar, preparation methods and individual components from which the mortar is composed. The practical part deals with the proposed reference and modified mortar mixtures and compares their technological properties.
Influencing the Tax Base through Vehicle Acquiring
Urbanová, Ivana ; Dvořák, Karel (referee) ; Svirák, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis focuses on different ways of financing long-term assets. It also monitors the effect of the tax base on the acquisition of property loan and leasing. It also includes the tax deductibility of costs, the impact of depreciation on the taxable acquisition of this property and recommend an appropriate alternative financing options offered.
The analysis of the adhesives penetration into the submicroscopic wood structure
Mitrenga, Ondřej ; Dvořák, Karel (referee) ; Vaněrek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the problem of penetration of adhesive into the cell wall of wood. It focuses on adhesives used for structural purposes and describes one of the main aspects influencing penetration, molecular weight of the adhesive. In addition to description of useful methods for determining the molecular weight of adhesive, thesis contains a description of some methods used for detection of adhesive in the cell wall of wood.
Study of the influences that affect the reactivity of a limestone
Sklenářová, Dorothea ; Bureš,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Dvořák, Karel (advisor)
This thesis is a part of grant assignment and focuses on the effect and properties of input material, limestone, on reactivity and speed of decarbonation. The aim of this thesis is to find the effect of chemical composition, petrography, genesis and diagenesis, porosity and microstructure of limestones on reactivity and speed and profile of decarbonation. The experimental part of thesis describes analysis of chosen limestone samples regarding porosity, reactivity by Bischof-Uhde method and process of decarbonation of calcite in term of crystallinity of product.
