Digital commissioning of a robotic production system for machine tool operators
Simandl, Tomáš ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with virtual commisioning of robotic production system for machine tools operators. This thesis is based on real workplace, which is located in the laboratory of the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics at the BUT. The issues of virtual commisioning, data validation and workshop analysis are described in the teoretical part of the thesis. In the practical part of the thesis there is described creation of components in the RobotStudio, robotic programm, PLC program and also virtual commisioning itself.
Design of robotic wall tiler
Dostál, Patrik ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Kočiš, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is the design of a new robotic wall tiler. The research part of the thesis consists of two parts. The first part encompasses basic principles of industrial robotics and of already designed robotic wall tilers. The second part describes the process of manual wall tiling. The information acquired from this research has been applied in the systemic analysis of the problem. From three proposed variants, one has been chosen for further design work. The thesis also includes a proposal of robot control and a description of robot’s work procedure. In the end, the robot, and the process of automation of wall tiling were economically analysed.
Design of a stent shaping unit
Václavek, Marek ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a design of a single-purpose machine used to shape thin plastic tubes with the use of thermal processes. The thesis first focuses on research of industrial robots, which will be used as a basis for the selection of handling equipment performing key tasks within the machine. Based on the results of a multicriteria selection method, the selected industrial robot model is Epson VT6L. The following manufacturing processes were proposed according to the analysis of the reuirements: heating with the use of heating cartridges, cooling with water-cooled clamps and chilling in a refrigeration chamber with conveyors. The proposed techniques were formulated into a detailed design solution. A simulation of the robotic tasks was conducted in order to verify the trajectories of the robot and to estimate the cycle time of machine. The machine was assessed from the aspect of work safety and measures were proposed for selected sources of hazards.
Energy savings in pneumatic systems operations
Klement, Jakub ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with energy savings in the operation of pneumatic systems. In the first part, the elements used in pneumatic systems are described and the theory of energy saving is researched. As the thesis is written in cooperation with SMC company, it also analyses energy saving audits carried out by this company. The practical part contains the results of measuring of selected most common problems related to energy waste and their application on a sample example. The practical part also includes documentation for further training of design engineers and a 3D model of a tutorial panel.
Design and aplication of stationary industrial robots
Kykal, Roman ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the basic construction, separation and various uses of stationary industrial robots. In the first part is mentioned the basic definition and structure of the robot, which is widely used in the world. It also contains the basic components of the robot, which are described in more detail and possibly divided according to functionality. The second part include examples of robots that are practically used today, and this part is followed by a chapter in which we find relatively new technologies that are not completely perfect and are constantly evolving. Finally, there is an analysis of robot technology, why they exist in the world and why they make our lives easier.
Manufacturing capacity plan with support lean management
Milčíková, Nikoleta ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Rozehnalová, Jana (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a production capacities planning supported by Lean management. It contains theoretical background to the issue, including an overview of relevant standards. The outcome of the work is an introduction of production capacity planning with certain elements of lean production in the family engineering microbusiness NTW s.r.o. in order to make business processes more effective.
Spot welding workplace automation
Chlup, Adam ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
Bachelor thesis made in collaboration with Norma Czech s.r.o. company deals with designing and implementing automated spot welding workplace. The first part of the bachelor thesis is describing current information and knowledge about clamping of weldments and its manipulation. Using the knowledge of welding jigs, a design of not only welding jig, but also of the entire welding workplace with automation elements is then made. This design is then implemented in practice with main goals to save as much as possible space in the production hall, increasing productivity and effectivity of workplace. Thanks to the application of the UR 5 robotic arm in work cell is productivity measured by number of pieces per people hour (PPH) increased by 96 %.
A design of small size power hammer
Hladík, Radim ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis, in addition to the design of small power hammer, contains information from the history of power hammers, current research of the market of the manufacturers of these forming machines and their specific requirements. It also states the classification of these forming machines according to various criteria for example based on the structural arrangement, the method of energy transfer, etc. Furthermore, two designs of the power hammer construction are carried out according to the specified parameters. One of these variants is selected based on the multicriteria analysis and presents a detailed proposal. In this selected variant is made 3D model design sketched using software Autodesk Inventor 2021, basic design calculation and drawing documentation. In conclusion, there are recommendations for practice and evaluation of work results.
Ergonomics of a small manufacturing company
Vršková, Markéta ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Rozehnalová, Jana (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the ergonomic analysis of selected workplaces in the company TRUNN, s.r.o. The theoretical part of the thesis contains a summary of basic knowledge in the field of ergonomics, which are then applied in the practical part of the thesis. The practical part of the work includes a description of the current state of workplaces and evaluation of jobs using the methods described in the theoretical part. Based on the evaluation, own recommendations and suggestions are made on how to adjust the jobs. The aim of the diploma thesis is to provide workers with a suitable workplace that meets ergonomic requirements.
Design of a hydraulic pressure system of a powered exoskeleton
Tomeček, Michal ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to design a hydraulic system for robotic exoskeleton actuation.
