Analytic method of solar panel and systems
Kopunec, Vít ; Veselý, Aleš (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the diploma work is to introduce analytical methods concerning solar panels and systems. Firstly, the attention is drawn to a principle of photovoltaic conversion including an explanation of photoelectric phenomenon as well as the issue of P-N junction considered to be the fundamental building block of a solar cell. With respect to the fact that the diploma work is to be focused on testing of solar panels and the identification of defects in solar cells, the work describes individual solar cells, solar panels as well as individual methods of defect identification. Secondly, the work includes sections dealing with the assessment of the measurement performed by using electroluminescence method as well as the measurement method of volt-ampere parameters. The last section of the work includes the assessment of solar panel aging after one-year performance using the electroluminescence measurement method.
Diagnostic method of solar cells operating at very low temperatures
Bartoň, Jiří ; Stojan, Radek (referee) ; Veselý, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with the modern diagnostic methods of defects detection of solar cells. Defects are detected by electroluminescence and photoluminescence methods. The main focus of this work is an innovation workplace for measuring solar cell defects at very low temperatures using photoluminescence. Liquid nitrogen is used to cooling solar cells. By using low temperatures can be detection methods to obtain more objektive results of diagnostic defects.
Measuring temperature in the photovoltaic systems
Vičar, Pavel ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Veselý, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with covers design and realisation of device for multipoint temperature measuring in fotovoltaic systems. As a controlling microcomputer is used Atmel ATMega128L, temperature sensors are realised by DS18S20 digital thermometers, connected via 1-wire bus. System can read temperature from x temperature sensors, includes memory for measured data, real time clock and display with buttons for basic user control. Temperatures are measured periodically, values are stored into internal memory and showed on display.Measured data can also be transferred via seriál bus to clinent PC. Device is projected as a battery-operated compact tool. The final realization is made with respect to minimal system requirements and to possible future extensibility for wider usage spectrum.
Influence of temperature dependence of luminescence solar cells
Koutný, Michal ; Veselý, Aleš (referee) ; Dolenský, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with determination defects in solar cells using non-destructive methods. Defects are determinating by electroluminescence method and microplasma method in temperature influence. Temperature will be changed by Peltier cells. By using this various temperatures during the testing we can receive more objective results thanks to simulated operation conditions.
Software for LBIC method
Kučera, Filip ; Veselý, Aleš (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on one of the diagnostic methods of fotovoltaic cells the LBIC (Light Beam Induced Current) method and the experimental measurement set-up for this method, which is operated by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Technology in Brno. The principle of photovoltaic cells function, the possibly used material and the problems usually encountred during production are described in this work,. There is also a review of methods that can be used to detect defects in photovoltaic cells. The main part is devoted to the proposal of a new experimental set-up for the measuring LBIC method and software development for this set-up. There is a proposal of a new method of measurement, which is also implemented using the development environment Borland C + +. Newly developed software for this method allows simpler operation and more efficient measurements.
Photoluminescence diagnostic method with transmission illumination
Kafka, Martin ; Veselý, Aleš (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is an innovation of photoluminescence measure research workplace for measurement of cells structure defects by method of transmissive illumination while employing the current methods of measurement of defect in the solar cells structure. The first part deals with explanation of historical development of solar energy, of how we can reach production of electric power with contribution of solar radiation and defines usability of solar cells in practice. The thesis further analyses a practical application of measurement via laboratory diagnostic methods used by Department of Electrotechnology Brno University of Technology. The second part is focused on mechanical design of experimental photoluminescence measure workspace used for quick diagnostic defects employing the rear arousing source for detection of defects with assistance of transmissive system of illumination. Finally, with co-operation of SOLARTEC s.r.o. three types of solar cells are measured by this new method and compared with results of measurement via diagnostic methods of LBIV (Light Beam Induced Current), LBIC (Light Beam Induced Voltage), Electroluminescence, Photoluminescence, and detection defects by radiation of Microplasma.
Solar cells photoluminescence defect detection methods
Vala, Zbyněk ; Veselý, Aleš (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis discusses modern methods for fast defect detection of solar cells. For the means of the defect classification, the technological production process of crystalline silicon solar cells is described. The defects are researched by the electroluminescence and prohtoluminescence methods. The Photoluminiscence method is improved by the posibility of using different wavelenght of excitacion sources. The range of using in industrial production is determined for the discussed methods.
The system for administration keys trough the using RFID
Veselý, Aleš ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis dealing with description and system design for administration keys trough the using RFID technology. The main task of this thesis is create a complete controlling algorithms for this system include operating program for platform Windows. Practically output of this thesis is system controlled by microcontroller, which make a decision based on authorisation whether man in question have an accession to the system and which keys he can take.
Evropský trh s elektřinou a energetické politiky států EU
Veselý, Aleš ; Klosová, Anna (advisor) ; Resende, Moises (referee)
The main focus of this thesis is to find out what factors have the biggest influence on the price of electricity for household consumers in the European Union in the context of creating the internal electricity market in the EU. By means of the cluster analysis six EU Member States have been selected according to the following criteria: electricity consumption, electricity production, and the price of electricity. As a result of that Belgium, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Malta and Sweden have been selected. Consequently, the regression analysis has been carried out to find out what factors influence the electricity prices in every country individually. The independent variables are mainly various sources of electricity production. It was found out those renewable resources most influent the electricity price for households in Belgium, Estonia, Hungary, and Sweden. Nevertheless, in the context of Europe 2020 strategy and the formation of the European energy market, one of the European Commission's objectives is to increase the share of renewable sources in the production of electricity in the EU Member States. Therefore, it will bring about higher prices of electricity, which goes against the Commission's effort to decrease the price of electricity for households through the liberalisation of electricity and the creation of the internal electricity market.
Norwegian Welfare State and Its Resources
Veselý, Aleš ; Prorok, Vladimír (advisor) ; Lisa, Aleš (referee)
The text deals with the management of the Norway's crude oil and natural gas with a view to financing and sustaining the welfare state. First, the thesis deals with the development and the principle of the Norwegian welfare state. Subsequently, the attention is paid to the cooperation of Norway and the European Union within the European Economic Area, especially in the context of the dependency of the EU on energy imports from Norway.
