Vascular access for hemodialysis and hemodynamics
Válek, Martin ; Lopot, František (advisor) ; Malík, Jan (referee) ; Roček, Miloslav (referee)
The study is based on the program of monitoring of the state of surgically created vascular accesses by measuring the vascular access blood flow (QVA). Besides the comprehensive analysis of factors influencing the value of QVA it discussed in detail hemodynamic changes caused by the presence of non-physiological arteriovenous anastomosis. The study is based on data acquired in the course of more than 10 years during which this program has been routinely used and is based on data from 506 patients with a total of 4,296 measurements of QVA. In patients, QVA is significantly inter- and intraindividually variable. QVA is significantly influenced by multiple factors and corresponds also to the overall health of the patient. No simple factor has been proven to predominantly influence QVA. The study points out the significant long-term physiological variability of QVA (23%) as a parameter that was not taken into account despite its importance in deciding on the correct indication of radiological interventions. The study also analyzes the strong correlation between QVA and cardiac output. It brings a new method of evaluation of the influence of vascular access on myocardium through a calculation of the load of left ventricle and shows that there is a strong non-linear dependency between the flow and the...
Variability of the high jump technique
Valek, Miloš ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Krátký, Petr (referee)
Variability of Technique in High Jump Thesis objectives: The main aim of my thesis is to find out the way how the technique in specific training methods of high jump, which are full runup jumps with different directions of the coach, are changing. The next aim is to evaluate acquired kinematic parameters for each high jumper, compare the results and find defects in technique of V. Urban and V. Hojka. Method: Kinematic 3D analysis was used for the study of techniques in specific training methods. Watched spatio-temporal events were recorded on digital cameras. The record was sequentially converted to eligible digital format and processed with APAS computer programme. The output data (partially processed in Microsoft Excel) were gained in APAS programme. Results: The influence of specific training methods of high jump mentioned above was achieved. The parallel results out of 35 watched kinematic parameters became evident in 24 kinetic parameters. The athlete L. Urban inclines to "power" flop, while L. Hojka's technique can be described as speed jumping.
Evaluation of the Financial Situation in Pilana Tools a.s. and Proposals to its Improvement
Válek, Marek ; Beranová, Michaela (referee) ; Jakubcová, Marie (advisor)
In the bachelor work there is financial situation of a firm characterested, which is engeged in in makes cutter tools and their distribuction brand Pilana Tools a.s. The financial situation is characterested by means of a worked up financial analysis in a period of years 2006 – 2008. The results of the financial analysis are eveluated and at the some time there are specified its problematic parts and imperfections. On which basis there is elaborated a plan included optimal solution for the improvement of the present situation of a concern. In the work there are weak and strong points of a firm pointed out.
Digital maps application in the State administration
Válek, Milan ; Mentzl, Michal (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
Geography and spatial data are part of our everyday life. The purpose of this thesis is to create an effective digital map processing system for a Municipal office, a system that would combine traditional ways of using maps with modern means of representation of spatial data. The first part of this work is focused on theoretical fundamentals of digital cartography. The second part is practical and describes development of geographic information system, which uses PUKNi2 system for manipulation with the data of a real estate register. The results of deployment and operation of this system have proved eligibility of the implemented solution.
Use of GIS at the Management of Photovoltaic Power Stations
Válek, Milan ; Martásek, Jan (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The Thesis topic deals with the design and implementation of the system for photovoltaic power stations property administration. Due to the scope of the property administered, a solution using geographic information systems has been selected. Functionality of the designed system with data defined for the photovoltaic power stations were verified in the pilot operation. The results of the pilot operation proved efficiency and effectivness of the designed system.
ERP system implementation in the company and its connection with E-shop
Konečný, Pavel ; Válek, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
The Master thesis deals with the analyzing of the actual metodology of information system (thereinafter IS) implementation and the creation of a new more effective methodology that would prevent the repetition of the indentified deficiency. Despite the diversity of individual customers and their requests concerning the IS implementation and modification, it is necessary to apply the procedural approach during the generation of projects. The implementation methodolgy is thus defined by the description of the particular processes of IS implementation.
Analysis of real data from Alza.cz product department using methods of KDD
Válek, Martin ; Berka, Petr (advisor) ; Kliegr, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis deals with data analysis using methods of knowledge discovery in databases. The goal is to select appropriate methods and tools for implementation of a specific project based on real data from Alza.cz product department. Data analysis is performed by using association rules and decision rules in the Lisp-Miner and decision trees in the RapidMiner. The methodology used is the CRISP-DM. The thesis is divided into three main sections. First section is focused on the theoretical summary of information about KDD. There are defined basic terms and described the types of tasks and methods of KDD. In the second section is introduced the methodology CRISP-DM. The practical part firstly introduces company Alza.cz and its goals for this task. Afterwards, the basic structure of the data and preparation for the next step (data mining) is described. In conclusion, the results are evaluated and the possibility of their use is outlined.
Optimalizace výroby na pile fy Opluštil v Ladné
Válek, Michal
The thesis deals with optimalization of production in relation to higher operation efficiency at sawmill Opluštil in Ladná. The author proceeds from current state of the sawmill, its facilities and way of production. In the introduction is described the state of operation, there are mentioned particular production and non-production operations. Technological equipment is mentioned as well. In the practical part is carried out the analysis of production, derived yield of cut timber and there are stated weak points in production. Subsequently, there are proposed three options for possible future production optimization. The thesis results in recommendation for future production which can help the owner with decision about further company development.
Internet marketing with focus on accommodations
Válek, Martin ; Smutný, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Řezníček, Václav (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with use of internet marketing for accommodations. The first part begins with defining basic concepts and presents selected internet marketing tools that can be used just for accommodation. The largest part is primary focused on those, which are then applied in practice. The second part is based on selected tools and tries to apply it in practice. After accomplishing basic analysis, the best marketing tools are selected for practical implementation. In conclusion is evaluated the success of the changes by using analytical tool and are suggested next possible steps.
Behavior of Mortars Reinforced by Fibres
Válek, M. ; Procházka, P. ; Drdácký, Miloš
Paper presents a numerical approach to description of behaviour of mortars reinforced by fibres as they were frequently used in historic masonry structures. It is based on a generalised plane strain state of a cylinder and utilises experimental results of tests on historic mortar samples under cyclic loading.
