Determination of hyaluronan by electromigration methods
Bártová, Adéla ; Mravcová, Ludmila (referee) ; Řezáčová, Veronika (advisor)
This thesis is focused on description hyaluronic acid, characterization of its behaviour in water solutions, its chemical-physical properties and its using in different industrial sectors. The next part deals with possibilities of its analysis. The following section of the thesis is focused on electromigration techniques with special attention dedicated to capillary electrophoretic methods, especially capillary zone electrophoresis. The aim of this thesis is optimization of the method of determination of hyaluronic acid in water solutions by capillary zone electrophoresis.
The electromigration methods and their use in the analysis of drugs.
Tučková, Dominika ; Tulková, Tereza (referee) ; Řezáčová, Veronika (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the determination of septonex, effective component in medical agents, using capillary isotachophoresis. The main aim is optimization of this method for fast, sensitive and inexpensive determination of septonex. In bachelor thesis chemical and physical properties of septonex are introduced as well as its negative and positive properties, which can be used in medicine, and summary of possible methods of analysis. Further this thesis gathers information about drugs containing septonex and available on Czech market. Following chapters of the thesis summarize theory of electromigration methods, their principles, analytical devices and their use for septonex analysis. Finally, the thesis presents optimal conditions for analysis and results of determination of septonex in drug Septonex spray, which is available on Czech market, using capillary isotachophoresis. Content of determined septonex is compared to amount of septonex contained in this drug, which is declared by producer, in this thesis.
The use of ion exchanges for preconcentration of platinum group metals
Sýkora, Jiří ; Řezáčová, Veronika (referee) ; Komendová, Renata (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the elaboration of a detailed literature review on the use of ion exchangers for the preconcentration of platinum group metals. This work contains an actual literature review on this issue. In this work you will find information about the current occurrence of platinum metals in the environment, their impact on health, properties, resources and the use. There are also described ways of decomposition, extraction and use of ion exchangers. In the experimental part this thesis deals with optimization of ion exchangers and following application of real samples from the city of Brno.
Use of biomarkers for assessing environmental pollution by platinum group metals
Nedvědická, Lucie ; Řezáčová, Veronika (referee) ; Komendová, Renata (advisor)
This diploma thesis in the theoretical part analyses the characteristic feature of individual platinum group elements, their toxicity, anthropogenic sources and the presence of platinum group elements in the environment of the Czech Republic. In addition, there are specified types of bioindicators focusing mainly on lichens, mosses and needles. There are described individual bioindication techniques and pre-treatment of samples for platinum metals determination in bioindicators. The subject of the experimental part is to verify the sorption efficiency and ability of platinum and palladium using the SPE method and to determine the actual platinum metal contamination in selected localities in the city of Brno. There was also the additionally subject to verify the sorption potential of selected bioindicators and determination of the environmental pollution by platinum metals using the bag technique. In the experimental part, the bioindicators of moss Pleurozium schreberi, lichen Xanthoria parietina, lichen Flavoparmelia caperata and needles Pinus nigra were used.
National Debt of the Czech Republic compared with selected states of the European Union
Řezáčová, Veronika ; Severová, Lucie (advisor) ; Spiesová, Daniela (referee)
This work is focused on the general issue of sovereign debt and consequently on the comparison between the various European Union countries and the Czech Republic. The first part deals with the theory of sovereign debt, as general government debt has been incurred and what resources the government has to deal with sovereign debt. There are also described emit forms of sovereign debt in the Czech Republic and the total debt in this country. Own research in the form of a questionnaire survey is presented in the secod part of this work, which includes both the actual exploration and evaluation. Constitutive part also compared the actual states of the European Union to the Czech Republic according to individual criteria.
Platinum group elements in waste and surface waters
Novotný, Matěj ; Řezáčová, Veronika (referee) ; Komendová, Renata (advisor)
This assignment provides a detailed description of platinum metals, their occurrence in surface and waste water and their determination options. Currently, platinum metals are widely used in the automotive industry as a part of a catalyst, as well as in medicine and jewelery. Release of these metals in pure form and the form of oxides leads to their subsequent accumulation, which directly affects fauna and flora. Due to that, the living conditions and health status of some organisms are petting worse.
Organic tin compounds in the environment and the possibilities of their determination.
Fojt, Jakub ; Komendová, Renata (referee) ; Řezáčová, Veronika (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is elaboration literature search concerning the issue of organotin compounds in the environment. It mainly deals with use, properties and occurence of organotin in the environment and possible analytical ways to determine them. It also includes description of optimalized method to determination of trimethyltin chloride by capillary electrophoresis.
Thermal lens spectrometric detection of MRI contrast agents in the process of their photocatalytic degradation
