Hájek, Filip ; Hořák, Jaromír (advisor) ; Vanduchová, Marie (referee)
In my dissertation "Problémy trestního soudnictví ve věcech mládeže" I speak about the issues of criminality of the young and about the forms of reactions to misdemeanour caused by the young perpetrators or children. The main legal regulation in this area is the law no. 218/2003, about the judiciary in cases of the young, that contains the arrangement of the material and the procedural law. In connection to the criminal law and the penal code it is a lex specialis. In the first chapter I speak about the theoretical fundation of the law arrangement, and so about the conception of the restorative judiciary. The main idea of this conception is to favor the educational action before repression. The aim is the relationship reconsiliation between the perpetrator and the victim, the awareness of one's deeds and subsequent continuance in one's life in conformity with legal order. The theme of the second chapter is the terminology of the judiciary law in cases of the young. A different terminology was implemented in order to reduce the stigmatization of the young perpetrators, due the interest of their proper development. The third chapter represents a brief retrospect to the history of law arrangement in the area of criminality of the young. In particular, it speaks about the judiciary law among the young...
Pricing methods and value of the firm
Moleková, Táňa ; Jakubík, Petr (advisor) ; Hájek, Filip (referee)
One of the main features of slowly passing financial and economic crisis has been the substantial drop of the value of assets held in form of stocks. The key issue for investors during this turbulent period was, whether to hold the stocks in the expectations of consequent regain of their value, or whether to look for safer and more profitable targets for allocation of capital. This is the question that is being asked also by the hundreds of professional as well as small investors and households, which are keeping their money in form of stocks of companies tradable at Prague Stock Exchange. Having in hand the information about the potential over- or undervaluation of the market price of these stock in relation to their intrinsic values based on true financial fundamentals can help them make the right decision. Finding the answers on these questions was set as a main goal of this rigorous thesis. The analysis, which of the theoretical concepts and stock valuation methods are the most successful in explaining the development of the actual stock prices for the companies listed in Prague Stock Exchange comes to the forefront. Different valuation models and econometric tools are tested on several companies in order to estimate the potential relationship between the actual and intrinsic value of these stocks as...

Hájek, Filip ; Richter, Tomáš (advisor) ; Mejstřík, Michal (referee)
This master thesis concentrates on the agency problems that are embedded in corporations and their solutions by corporate law. We explain two specific agency problems in detail and review solutions to them by different jurisdictions. We provide an overview of how Czech corporate law and regulation tried to solve them after 1990. Then, the concept of private benefits of control is introduced and used to measure the quality of law and regulation in the Czech Republic. We come to the conclusion that the quality of law and regulation hasimproved and reached a level comparable with Western European countries.
Nanostructured layer enhancing light extraction from GaN-based scintillator using MOVPE
Vaněk, Tomáš ; Hubáček, Tomáš ; Hájek, František ; Dominec, Filip ; Pangrác, Jiří ; Kuldová, Karla ; Oswald, Jiří ; Hospodková, Alice
Light extraction (LE) efficiency of GaN buffer layer was studied by angle-resolved photoluminescence. We measured enhancement of light extraction efficiency (LEE) up to 154% by introducing the SiNx layer atop the GaN buffer and subsequent GaN light extraction layer (LEL) overgrowth. Morphological properties of GaN.
