Based on analysis of stated company are found shortcomings and more effective and safer way of backing up data is proposed.

Database Design for a Small Company

This work describes the design of a database system for Darka Company. It is a system of stocks of goods and materials. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part contains the theoretical background needed to understand the design of such a system. The second part is focused on the analysis of the current state in the company. In the last part, the system design itself is implemented using a selected platform. Part of the work is also a description of individual objects (eg forms) and the behavior of the system itself. Everything is designed with regard to the company requirements in consultation with the company management.

This master’s thesis deals with designing of the reporting solution for the selected company. In the theoretical part its describing the present state of the topic, defines the basic terminology, clarifes theoretical background and explain how to understand to a concept of business intelligencem reporting or information systém. Next part describes the design of the solution. This thesis then concludes with brief evalution of the solution and recommendation for the company.

Database Design for Transport Company

The aim of this thesis is to design a database for an incipient transport company, for which the solutions available on the market nowadays don´t make sense due to its size. Within this thesis I am going to concentrate on designing the structure of the database and its implementation on Microsoft SQL Server platform using Microsoft Management Studio tools.

This bachelor thesis solves the design of section of information system for company ABB s. r. o. In the first part of thesis, I will deal with theoretical formulation of basic concepts. Next part objective is analysis of current state of the company and creation of information system. The goal of the thesis is to create database and web interface of the IS.
