Application and comparison of standard and GIS methods for the quantification of erosion rate in given catchment area
Kulihová, Martina ; Moravcová, Aneta (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was the evaluation of erosion for the municipality Dolní Dobrouč using methods USLE, USLE2D, WEPP model and in program Atlas DMT. Each of the methods was described and the individual results of the calculations were compared.
Evaluation impact of the landscape structures on erosion and runoff conditions in given catchment area
Švandová, Tereza ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this Thesis is to determine the impact of landscape change and erosion in given watershed. This case is evaluating Kamenec cadastral area. Changes in crops and spatial distribution of the fields are evaluated first in 1954, when the monitored area was without agricultural cooperative farms and land was used in a smal land parcels. This was compared to the evaluation in 2015 when land was part of agricultural cooperatives and was used in large units. The changes in landscape and its use were imense. Land exploatation, heavy machinery and non conservation cultivation led to its soil compaction and deterioration of the K factor. To evaluate soil losses I used a method USLE and program ArcGIS
Comparison of methods for calculating the erosion rate in the given watershed
Plešek, Martin ; Moravcová, Aneta (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
Thesis deals with the evaluation of erosion and runoff rate using methods USLE, USLE2D in ArcGIS, Atlas and WEPP in the cadastral territory Hostašovice. The methods are described and compared.
Influence of landscape structure on soil erosion and runoff conditions in the given watershed
Horký, Štěpán ; Pavlík, František (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is evaluating influences of landscape structure on soil erosion and runoff conditions in the given watershed. For purposes of this work an area of village Lichnov in Moravskoslezský region was analyzed. In this thesis there are described theoretical concepts for calculation of soil erosion and runoff. Analyses of the area were based on a digital elevation model in ArcGIS software. To identify parcels at risk of erosion and runoff conditions were used Wischmeier and Smith equation and hydrological model DesQ – MAX Q.
A study of erosion control system using biotechnical conservation measures
Moravec, Jiří ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The objective of the bachelor thesis was the study of soil erosion control with application of system of semi-natural measures in chosen small catchment. Digital elevation model was generated and average soil loss was determined by ArcGis tools at each erosion parcel . Design of erosion control at chosen erosion risked locality was create in Microstation software and InRoads utilities. As a type of enviromental erossion control mesures was chosen a system of a earthfill dams with the sedimentation area in combination with grassing. The thesis efforts to point the differences between the possible optimal solution and a compromise solution which respects the requirements of agricultural entities. The solution respects the trend of water retention in landscape and use of low cost measures.
Identification of pathways concentrated surface runoff and their stabilization
Hájek, Daniel ; Pavlík, František (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
Aim of this study is to identify the pathways of concentrated surface runoff with assistance of digital terrain model in the river basin of Svratka and evaluate quantity and type of endangered grounds.
Application and comparison of standard and GIS methods for the quantification of erosion rate in the given watershed
Matoušek, Petr ; Vašinová, Kateřina (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
Aim of this study was to evaluate the erosion and runoff conditions according to the method of calculating the classical universal equation USLE, USLE2D method in Arcview GIS environment, using the method of Atlas DMT. Moreover, the comparison of these methods. The comparison was done for the community Jerlochovice. Erosion washes was calculated for values of R-factor of 20 and 40.
Flood prevention by using biotechnical measures
Pospíšil, Jan ; Pavlík, František (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis investigates the design of complex systems-natural flood control measures in the area of the cadastral municipality Jeseník nad Odrou. Based on the analysis and exploration of the territory, it was suggested a possible solution by erosion and hydrological GIS tools. To identify areas at risk of erosion and runoff conditions were used a digital elevation model, Wischmeier-Smith equation and model DesQ. Subsequently, the effectiveness was evaluated by comparing the results navžených measure erosion and runoff conditions before and after measures.
Design of soil and water conservation measures in cadastre Hradčany na Moravě
Dohnal, David ; Kovář, Petr (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim was to evaluate the erosion and drainage conditions in cadastre Hradčany na Moravě, propose appropriate measures to reduce the vulnerability of land erosion and improve runoff conditions of the landscape.
Relationship between chemistry of surface water and geological environment in the forest catchment LIZ in the Šumava Mts
Škoda, S. ; Váchal, J. ; Dumbrovský, M. ; Tesař, Miroslav ; Váchalová, R.
More then 20 years the chemistry of surface water has been observed within GEOMON project in the Zdíkov region in the Šumava Mts. The knowledge of composition and chemistry of geological environment is very important for assessment of input and output of matter to/from this catchment. The geological underground has been make up of migmatitize biotitic and sillimanit-biotitic paragneises of Šumava Moldanubicum. Soils, represented by oligotrophic and oligomezotrophic cambisoils, are very acid, sorption unsaturated. Their silicate buffering system significantly contributes to decrease leaching of calcium, manganese, chlorine and total aluminum, and so to reduction of intensity weathering of rocks.
