Analysis of crawl swimming technique
Malířová, Julie ; Jurák, Daniel (advisor) ; Zenáhlík, Aleš (referee)
Title: An analysis of the front crawl swimming technique Objective: The aim of this thesis is to analyze the technique of the swimming method of the front crawl. As part of the analysis, we focus on controlling individual segments of the body that significantly affect the effectiveness of movement. Research questions: Is the position of the participant's body in the desired range of angles from 0ř to 5ř? Are all phases in the upper extremities cycle consistent with the model technique? Do the lower extremities move during the front crawl kick according to the model technique? Is the inspirium performed optimally so as not to disrupt the correct position of the body? Is the interplay of the lower and upper extremities performed in optimal timing according to the model technique? Methods: An analysis of the swimming method of the front crawl was carried out in the student specialization of the Department of Swimming Sports UK FTVS. The data collection took place in Flum, where the technique was filmed from the left side (recorded on the surface), from the left upper side (recorded on the surface) and then from the forehead (recorded on the surface). The obtained videos were subsequently analyzed using the Kinovea software and the subcomponments were compared with the optimal model technique. After...

Title: Didactic interaction in swimming lessons for children with autism spectrum disorders Objectives: The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to describe and analyze the interaction profile of two instructors (a begginer in comparison with a senior instructor with many years of experience), leading a swimming lesson for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and in doing so, to contribute to the objectification of the conceptions about didactic interaction in aquatic motion lessons for children with ASD. Methods: The entire research was carried out in combination of both kvalitative and kvantitave methods. The observation was made during direct attendance of children with autism spectrum disorders at swimming lessons. Videorecords were made from two of these lessons. The videorecords were analysed by an unbiased observation. Subsequent coding of each individual swimming lesson was made with the method of modified analysis of didactic interaction (MADI). Results: From the research results it is apparent, that from the behavioral patterns, intructions prevailed for both instructors. Second most frequent subcategory for instructor 01 was correction, and for instructor 02 reception. The most used form of expresion for both instructors was speech and speech with body movements. From the...

Kružík, Josef ; Jurák, Daniel (advisor) ; Zenáhlík, Aleš (referee)
Title: Comparison of parameters for measuring the movement of the upper limbs on land and water. The Aim: The aim of this work is to compare selected parameters of swimming performance and technique, obtained in a 25m pool, in a pool with countercurrent (Flum) and on a biokinetic simulator Biokinetic. The Methods: The data used in the diploma thesis were obtained by direct measurements in the swimming pool, in Flum and by means of the Biokinetic swimming simulator. SmartPaddles were used to collect data. The data were then evaluated by Trainsense software and processed into tables and graphs. The Results: Based on the results, we can state that the highest power (W) was always delivered on the Biokinetic. The biggest difference between the average performances of upper limb was in the right hand during the crawl, when the hand on the Biokinetic (257 N) gave 701% of the performance of the right hand in the pool (42.53 N). The results of the average force of the upper limb propulsion for Butterfly in the pool were 19.08 N for the right hand and 17.21 N for the left hand. For Butterfly in the Flum were 13.68 N for the right hand and 11.93 N for the left hand. During the crawl, the proband generated 12.66 N with the right hand and 13.96 N with the left hand. When swimming in Flum, the force values for...
Czech and French concept of swimming lessons in school
Martínková, Tereza ; Čechovská, Irena (advisor) ; Zenáhlík, Aleš (referee)
Title: Czech and French concept of swimming lessons in school. Objectives: The objective of the study is to provide basic information about the concepts and management of swimming training at elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, universities and clubs in France. At the same time, use available resources to outline the functioning of swimming lessons in the Czech Republic and compare both of these systems. Methods: The method of analysis and synthesis was used to process the collected information. The obtained information about the Czech and French concept of swimming lessons in schools and clubs was subsequently compared. Results: Based on a comparison of the concepts of both countries, we found that these systems differ significantly. Although under the auspices of the same body, in France the Ministry of Education has much greater competence and the result is a very well-organized concept of swimming instruction. In comparison with the Czech Republic, it then appears that no institution managing the function is properly performed and significant shortcomings are found in the organization of swimming lessons within compulsory school attendance. Hájíček, Marek ; Jurák, Daniel (advisor) ; Zenáhlík, Aleš (referee)
Title: Analysis of stroking movements of crawl technique in persons with visual disabilities. Complained by: Bc. Marek Hájíček Supervisor: Mgr. Daniel Jurák Ph.D. Objectives: The aim of the study was to determine differencees among swimming technique of visually impaired swimmers and fully health swimmers. Methods: To assess the technique of the crawl swimming method, we used a 50 m swimming test, which we recorded and subsequently evaluated using the SmartPaddles technology and application. Results: Based on the results, we can say that the biggest differences in the technique of VI and fully health swimmers we recorded in the number of strokes per minute, in the total speed and in the execution of the stroke curve with the right and left hand. Fully health swimmer evenly distributed muscle strength between the two arms, while a swimmer with a VI had trouble maintaining muscle strength throughout the stroking movement. We have found that for visually impaired swimmers, it is necessary to devote more time to training and mastering swimming techniques than for healthy swimmers. Identifying the Conditions of Instability in Macromodels of Financial Cycles
Zenáhlík, Aleš ; Baxa, Jaromír (advisor) ; Komárek, Luboš (referee)
The purpose of this thesis is to construct an endogenous macroeconomic model explaining the cause of financial cycles and systemic instability based on the financial instability hypothesis (FIH) published by Hyman Minsky (1982). FIH maintains that capitalist financial systems have an inherent disposition to fi- nancial instability because periods of economic prosperity encourage borrowers and lenders to be increasingly reckless which in turn lead to the formation of financial bubbles. The problem is approached by employing an adaptive ex- pectations model based on stylized facts from Kaldor's and Kalecki's models with addition of behavioral equations implemented in an attempt to simulate market expectations.
