Design of optical microtribometer
Poláček, Tomáš ; Zapletal, Tomáš (referee) ; Šperka, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design an optical microtribometer with the possibility of dynamic measurement of liquid friction in simulated point contact. The device should be designed to allow a microscope to observe the point contact. The work describes the construction of selected devices investigating forces in contacts. Their advantages and disadvantages when used in the given problematics are pointed out. Touch parameters were determined using formulas of Hertz stress. Subsequently, the design of the cantilever on which the ball (one of the contact surfaces) is to be attached has been discussed. Using the cantilever and capacitive position sensors, forces and dynamic contact behavior are subsequently measured. The micrometer head and the designed six-joint mechanism are used to draw the necessary load. The required movement of contact is created by the rotation of the disk provided by the synchronous belt transmission and the synchronous engine. At the end of the work, the dynamic behavior of the device is evaluated, with the frequencies at which the measurement results can be influenced. The parameters of the proposed microtribometer are compared with the parameters of the devices described in the research section.

Types of rolling bearings wear
Kapusta, Juraj ; Košťál, David (referee) ; Zapletal, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to classify the rolling bearing wear from the very origin, the course in the operating state and the resulting quality of the component until the complete elimination. The design and subsequent production guarantee the life of the part, when the required working hours work safely. The designer's role in designing a bearing selection for a given bearing, lubrication and load transfer is to take into account all factors that could lead to damage. In practice, the customer's choice of bearing is recommended according to various computational methods that ensure optimal selection of a standardized bearing from the catalog. The individual parts contain values specifying the strength and dynamic properties that the customer can handle. The result will be a survey of several real companies, analysis of their implementation and accessibility of modules to facilitate the selection of the correct bearing. To do this, I try to make the issue of wear and tear accessible, which is related to the prevention of these undesirable effects.
Wear regimes of aluminium alloys
Slivka, Václav ; Zapletal, Tomáš (referee) ; Šperka, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the research of the wear regimes of the selected aluminium alloy in the conditions of dry friction. The aim of this work is the evaluation of the measure of an abrasive and adhesive wear of this alloy. This evaluation is made from the experiments which are made on the base of the knowledge of the research study. The dependence of the wear on the sliding speed and load, the friction on the sliding speed and load and the dependence of the normalised pressure on the normalised speed, so called the map of wear, are given on the base of the results of the measure.
Influence of the surface roughness features on the next rolling bearing element
Saksa, Vladimír ; Zapletal, Tomáš (referee) ; Košťál, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with investigation of influence of the surface roughness features on the next rolling bearing elements. It researches changes in the film profile entering into the contact. This thesis describes also elastohydrodynamic lubrication regime by witch each rolling bearing works as well as the difference between fully flooded and starvation contact of rolling ring with rolling bearing element. The part of the thesis is the experiment using different kinds of lubricats from which is visible really influence of these contacts. This experiment is realized on the contact simulator and the film thickness is measured using method of optical interferometry.
Web Pages Design
Zapletal, Tomáš ; Šustr, Vilém (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design websites for private watchmaker's. In a brief theoretical background followed by a practical implementation of specific design solutions. Contains not only the proper execution site, but also the distribution of content or sample design. The resulting site is suitable for real applications, at the end of the work includes suggestions for possible improvements and extensions.
The effect of surface grooves on transition to mixed lubrication
Zapletal, Tomáš ; Hartl, Martin (referee) ; Šperka, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this diploma thesis is to describe the influence of artificially produced surface grooves on transition from full EHL regime to mixed lubrication in point contact using optical interferometry. This article focuses on influences of grooves orientation, length in contact area, elastic properties of contact surfaces and different types of oil defined by pressure-viscosity coefficient. Empirical prediction model of groove influence on film thickness was established based on experimental data. The groove influence was incorporated into lubrication parameter. This modified definition was compared to classic one. It showed that avoiding groove influence in classic definition lead to significant underestimation. Influence of groove on friction coefficient is also studied.
Tool for simulation visualization
Zapletal, Tomáš ; Karásek, Jan (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is engaged in concept and implementation of tool that is able to visualize output of simulation of production processes. For this purpose multiplatform application was created to play back objects movement on the game field based on data, saved in text files. It is possible to watch simulation progress carefully in real time or faster. Tool is suitable for validation of designed simulating model and for revealing possible fault.
