Quality of Services in Wireless Networks 802.11
Kopeček, Tomáš ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Vyoral, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis reports an integrated view of wireless networks of standard 802.11, known as Wi-Fi. It contains three main parts, the first two of them are theoretical knowledge. The first part of work have to do with the security issue of WLAN, the second part refers to security issue of quality of services (QoS). The aim of the third, practical part is to verify the right functions of standard 802.11e, which ensures the support of quality of services in networks 802.11. Because of huge expansion of multimedia services demand, is this support in wireless networks necessary.
Development trends of TCP for high-speed networks
Modlitba, Jan ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Vyoral, Josef (advisor)
The master's thesis solve the problem of setting new TCP variants for high-speed IP networks. The first goal was to describe in detail the behaviour of TCP and then analyse a problem of utilization the available bandwidth with standard TCP in high-speed network. Work consequently deals with selection and description the most perspective ones. Further the reader is familiarized with reasonable simulation tools of existing problems and their brief description. Main part of this thesis presents examination of performance of new TCP variants for high-speed network. During the examination the aspects on efficiency and fairness of competition flows on shared bottleneck are taken. The results are tabularly displayed plus compared with each other.
Voice-over-IP principle and security problems
Bořuta, Petr ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Vyoral, Josef (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with security properties of protocols used for VoIP systems. In the first part, there is a description of most commonly used protocols and structure of VoIP systems. This part also discuss signaling and transport protocols. The second part of this paper describes techniques of ensuring quality of services. The next part presents SIP messages and communication. Last part of this paper overviews security risks of VoIP protocol. Practical part of this thesis describes creation of a testing VoIP network, on which several attacks has been made, fallowed by securing of mentioned VoIP network. Result of this thesis is evaluation of security risks connected to VoIP communication.
Preparation of web pages for handicapped users
Krupa, Martin ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Cvrk, Lubomír (advisor)
My bachelors thesis says about creating of accesible web pages, eplains why are accessible web pages neccessary, elucidate who are handicaped users, shows with whitch problems they can meet on internet, witch accestories they use and why is important to devote to this problem in practice. It also explains methods used for testing of accessiblity. Not every user is equal, everyone has his owns needs and so unique requirements, that is not able to overleap or elude. Practically they are visual and audio dissabled, users with deteriorated motile of upper limbs and users with disorders of learning and concentracion. This users have their own auxiliary technologies, for example audio responses, braille’s lines etc., that mediate informations from web pages to them. If we want these widgets to work, it’s neccessary, that these pages would be created with some rules and policies of accessible web. These web pages are more also ussefull for standard users.
Position monitoring with the help of GPS/GSM modem
Zavadil, Miloš ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
The first chapter of bachelor thesis is focused on theoretical explanation of the most important terms in Global Positioning System describing basic principles and position monitoring possibilities. The structure of the whole GPS system and its position setting accuracy is described further. The NMEA protocol used for transferring GPS information is shortly mentioned too. The second chapter deals with Open AT platform used for application development. It is a product of Wavecom company. The third thematic unit has already practical character. It shows the results of locating GenLoc25 modem by AT commands and decoding NMEA frame. Three variants of applications developed in Microsoft Visual C++ are described in the last chapter. All of them are used for position monitoring with GPS/GSM modem. The first program has the same functionality as the modem locating by AT commands. It is only for visualization of GPS information in Terminal window. The second application we can consider as the most important in this thesis. It contains all the items from the assignment. Actual data position is automatically sent to FTP server by GPRS transmission. The data are stored on this server. Received data are visualized in web browser by PHP script which is stored on server too. Final application is derived from the second one. The algorithm assumes that data are not sent to server regularly but transmission depends on human factor.
The Differences Between PHP and ASP.NET in Dynamic Web Development
Jánoš, Radan ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Kovář, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis analyses the possibilities of dynamic web content development by the help of technologies PHP and ASP.NET, attempting to compare both of them and establishes basic differences. All work is divided into the four main chapters. First, introductory part, treat of dynamic web content development, used technologies and initiatress reader to the given problems. The second chapter is already about analysing and comparing the two technologies mentioned above. This part begins by the basic introduction and history of technologies, follows practical part „ installation, setting, configuration", where is reader familiarized with needed development tools for starting each of technology. Further treat of the way of writing server code including syntax of languages, in which is PHP compared with language C# and describes the object orientation of languages. Chapter includes the samples of data access by both of the technologies, whether it uses functions or objects, special libraries etc. Summarises the support of platforms for mull over technologies and describes development environments that can be used to realize applications by the help of these technologies. Third chapter is engaged in design and practical realization of simple editorial system web application in both above described technologies. The editorial system is using appropriate database systems and includes basic content management interface, which is administred and managed through the web interface. Last chapter contains final estimation and summarization of ascertained conclusions, recapitulate downright findings and tries to answer the question, in which cases give priority to ASP.NET before PHP and on the contrary.
Quality of services in IP Telephony in Wirelass Networks
Slavíček, Tomáš ; Kyselák, Martin (referee) ; Vyoral, Josef (advisor)
The thesis deals with the principles of assurance quality of services in IP networks. The first part of the thesis describes specifications which are required by current applications for data network, and also illustrates the methods suitable for solving those requirements. The most attention is given to multimedia service VoIP whose development has not been finished from far. That theoretical knowledge implies in the second part of the thesis which analyzes the implementation of assurance QoS for the service VoIP within the standard 802.11, or more precisely, for wireless networks in general. The simulation of wireless networks within the program Opnet Modeler and the attest of the ability to assure QoS within both wireless networks and their limitations with an unswitched network are described in the next step. The current possibilities how to build up WLAN with the bearing QoS are sized up in conclusion.

System for support for work of programming translators in MS Windows - Visual Studio or Delphi
Kozempel, Lukáš ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Cvrk, Lubomír (advisor)
Subject of my bachelor's thesis is practical realization of the system, which controls program MS Word. It ensures underline that line in document, which is currently translating by translator. In the first part technologies used for create this system are analyzed. In the second part I have described function of created program.
Temperature scanning with Web site presentation
Svoboda, Vít ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Kacálek, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis solves design and realisation of device for temperature value scanning. First chapter introduces reader into basic principles of transmitting data over inetrnet. Next, the conception of whole designed system is described. Third chapter treats about suitable types of hardware to complete the system. Fourth and fifth chapter describes coherent vision of software realisation for values scanning and their storing into database. Last part attends to implement the dynamic web pages.
