The Fight against Corruption in Prague - the Anti-corruption Strategy of Government and Civil Society during the "Necas's government".

Presented work deals with the issue of fighting against corruption. In a theoretical level the work informs about the causes of corruption and the tools that are currently used for its persecuting. In the practical part I try to find out the way of improvement of corruption range seen throgh the eyes of actors that operate in Prague city. The aim of the work is to identify possibilities of efficiency improvement of nonprofit organizations and the public sector in the field of fighting against the corruption. The analytical part of the work, therefore, maps the situation in relations between selected non-profit organizations and relations between them and the public administration, which is in this work represented by the Prague City Hall - an institution which represents by the local government activities.
Implementation of the multicultural education and attitudes of teachers to the multicultural education

This diploma thesis deals with attitudes of teachers towards the introduction of the multicultural education within the curriculum reform of the regional system of education in the Czech Republic. The thesis then deals also with the course of implementation of the multicultural education in practice and with attitudes of teachers towards further training in this area. Since teachers are the key persons involved in the implementation of education policy, their attitude is crucial for successful implementation of the multicultural education. The methodology is based on the qualitative data analysis obtained from interviews with teachers. There are three main theoretical resources followed in this thesis, belief systems of Paul A. Sabatier, the theory of street-level bureaucracy of Michael Lipsky and multicultural education theories. Teachers have positive attitudes to the multicultural education. But some have their own prejudices against other ethnic groups. Although teachers understand positively their autonomy in the implementation of the multicultural education in practice, they express the need for certain rules in the implementation of the multicultural education. Process analysis of the ECDL concept

The thesis focuses on the process analysis of the ECDL concept, the so-called driver's license for a computer. The theoretical section provides the definition of the terms "process" and "process analysis", and describes the standards for process modelling and the methods for evaluating the effectiveness of processes. The theoretical section concludes with a description and comparison of the four options for testing computer skills in the Czech Republic - Microsoft Office Specialist, Atom, Prometric, ECDL. The practical section describes and graphically demonstrates the selected processes (Registration, Testing, Evaluation) and evaluates the effectiveness and financial demands of the ECDL concept processes. In its conclusion the practical section evaluates the feasibility of implementation of the proposed changes.
