Economic and social impacts of the development to employment in Usti region

This thesis Economic and social impacts of employment growth in the Ústí region will focus on the issue of unemployment, which is a problem affecting the life and character throughout the region. The thesis will consists of two main parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the work will be focused to the characterization and description of the main terms associated with unemployment, the labor market or instruments of active and passive policy of unemployment reduction. In the practical part, attention will be paid to the characteristics of the Ústí region, focusing on economic, geographic or social terms. Further writes through the use of time series of employment and unemployment in the Ústí region. Also presented graphically, for example, the unemployment rate, unemployment in terms of education levels, unemployment on the basis of gender or whether they are more at risk of unemployment men or women. Inside the private research will be the prediction of graduates registered at labour offices in the Ústí region, which will be subsequently formulated the basic causes of this situation and will propose a solution that could help the graduates in the easier application at the labour market.
Economic impacts of financial results of the selected company

The thesis is focused on economic impacts of financial results of the manufacturer of staircases SWN Moravia s.r.o. Theoretical part of the thesis describes the whole basics, users and individual indicators of the financial analysis. There are also mentioned basics of the trend analysis and multivariate regression analysis. Practical part of the thesis successively describes selected indicators and their progress during the years 2010-2014. Mentioned are liquidity, leverage, profitability, activity ratios, debt indicators, bankruptcy models and credibility models. There are also described main changes during selected period of time. Results of the financial analysis are compared to chosen company with equivalent kind of business with intention to show how SWN Moravia stand on market during economic crisis. Data gain from financial analysis are source of data for regression analysis, which is used for modeling profit. In the end are information gained from the financial analysis summarized and several recommendations are proposed to improve financial results of the company. There is also outlined progression of the profit and evolution of company in the years to come.
Monetary policy in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis follows up accomplishment of Maastricht criterion by the Czech Republic and forecast the accomplishment till the year 2018. The thesis contains the dependence of the household consumption at the exchange rate between the Czech crown and euro. In the theoretical part of the thesis the monetary policy and its main goals and instruments are described. The function and tasks of central bank are covered as well. In theoretical part are also described the important monetary institutions for the Czech Republic as the Czech national bank, European central bank and International monetary fund. In the practical part of the thesis are two analyses. The first analyzes the factors of monetary policy between years 1998 and 2004. The second one analyzes the accomplishment of the Maastricht criterion between years 2004 and 2014 and there is also the prognosis of the future development till the year 2018. In the end of the thesis is compiled a model interpreting the dependence between exchange rate and household consumption. The exchange rate between Czech crown and euro has been chosen because of the intervention of the Czech national bank.
Economy of Employment's and its macroeconomic prognosis

On the basic of econometric model a short-term prediction of development is created. The file of recommendations suitable for greater employment effectivness both in the Czech Republic and the European Union has been formed.
The Economic impacts of Active Employment Policy

This diploma thesis deals with the labour market and linked issues, such as unemployment, active employment policy, and the impact of employment policy from several points of view. The thesis aims to suggest solutions, which could lead to an increase of employment in the Czech Republic. The practical part describes the progression of employment in the Czech Republic and analyzes labour perspectives according to education level, social status, and biological attributes of the population. Furthermore, the paper explores the employment development prognosis in the Czech Republic until 2020. Outcomes, recommendations, and comparison with the main thesis objectives form the last part of this diploma thesis.

It is based on literature review and a series of structured interviews conducted among top and middle management of the selected company. It is divided into two main parts respectively. The aims of the thesis are to identify general managerial approach practiced by the managers of the selected company and to determine whether there is a link between the managerial approach of a direct superior and subordinate.
Fiscal and monetary policy in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with fiscal and monetary policy and their effect on economic development. The work is composed of theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are defined and described individual policies, including economic policy and their objectives, types, forms, tools and problems. The practical part analyzes the development of the Czech economy between 2004 and 2014. Also is solved econometric equation for inflation. In equations are achieving macroeconomic indicators: the annual change in the average nominal monthly wage, rate of household savings, inflows foreign direct investment, unemployment, gross domestic product and net exports. The same equation is solved in the Slovak Republic, which was chosen as relevant for comparison of economic development, basic data are using from the same period. An econometric model is solved by ordinary least squares method. Based on the analysis of economic development in the Czech Republic and results of the econometric model of inflation in Czech and Slovak Republic is proposing a change in the fiscal and monetary policy for the Czech Republic.
The economic impact of structural policies

The theme of this thesis are the economic impacts of structural policies. The first part focus on policy economic and social cohesion, an analysis of the programming period from 2004 to 2006, from 2007 to 2013 and an analysis of the current situation and the objectives set up for the programming period from 2014 to 2020. The second part is using a linear regression model to making a proposal for an improvement of drawing grants from structural funds in the new budget period from 2014 to 2020. It also determine an economic determinants which are analyse and evaluated in terms of their development since the Czech republic joined the European Union. Finally the work identified and evalueted the benefits of structural policies in various areas.
Investment and employment in the Czech Republic

This Bachelor Thesis is focused on the issue of foreign direct investments (FDI) and their impact and importance for employment in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is evaluation of Inward Flows and Outward Flows of investments, investment incentives and the development of employment in the Czech Republic for the period from 1993 to 2012. The detailed analysis of these categories of the year 2013 involves findings regarding the impact of FDI to employment in the CR and Germany based on one-equation econometric model. It is split into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on professional publications and examination of specialized sources. It serves as a theoretical basis and specification of given issue. The practical part involves two main topics, description and analysis of key categories. The descriptive part involves historical development of foreign investments, investment incentives and employment. The second one examines relation between FDI and employment in the CR and Germany byone-equation econometric model. To clarify the key facts, tables and charts are used. The conclusion involves summary of evolution of FDI, employment in the CR and Germany and possible consequences and recommendations, that are based on findings and comparisons resulted from one-equation econometric model usage.
Investment and employment in the European Union

The Diploma Thesis is divided into the theoretical basis and the practical part that is further divided into descriptive part and analytical part. The theoretical part is proceeding from book publications and websites. The aim of this Diploma Thesis is to determine how foreign direct investments affect labour market in selected countries of the European Union, further to compare and evaluate this influence in these states, and develop recommendations for the Czech Republic how to improve the situation on the labour market through foreign direct investments and other researched variables. These issues were solved in the analytical part of the own work, where were created two single-equation econometric models and on the basis of them was investigated whether foreign direct investment and the average gross monthly wage have an influence on the number of employed in the Czech Republic and Austria. The partial aim of the thesis is to analyze the development of foreign direct investment in the Czech Republic from many different perspectives and also to analyze the development of selected indicators of the labour market. Another aim is to evaluate current condition of the Czech Republic in selected spheres of foreign direct investments and the labour market. These issues were solved in the descriptive part of the practical part. A simple summary of the results of this thesis is that foreign direct investment should not be required with the aim of increase employment.
