Conception of cheerleading as a new sport branch in Czech Republic

6 Abstract Title: Creating a new concept of cheerleading as a sport in the Czech Republic Objectives: Creating a comprehensive overview providing a complex information about the sport discipline called cheerleading. Clarifying the character of the sport of cheerleading. Gathering and submitting a comprehensive description of the sports discipline, a set of rules, mandatory elements, and methodologies of cheerleading. Preparation of a material for Czech Cheerleading Association and Institute of Czech Cheerleading as a base of metodology of cheerleading that will be helpful for cheerleading coaches in the Czech Republic to improve their skills and expending the number of members of the association. Taking photos that will facilitate understanding of issues and eliminate incorrect understanding of theoretical bases in various methodologies. Methods: A comprehensive classification of sports cheerleading industry required a consistent and detailed approach, a through content analysis of foreign literature, including knowledge and experience from my own practice and practice of other personalities involved in cheerleading from Czech Republic and abroad. Comparison of selected European riding schools and riding education system in the Czech Republic

Title of the work: Comparison of selected European riding schools and riding education system in the Czech Republic Work goals: Mention all available riding schools in the Czech Republic, their description and comparison with selected European riding schools Methods: Analysis of literature sources and other available materials, description of individual programs of the mentioned schools, comparison based on the results of the individual schools and the level of their alumni Conclusion: The level of riding education in the Czech Republic is lower than in the compared foreign schools. The selected European schools have much longer tradition and also more elaborate education system. The Czech Republic faces lack of qualified trainers, as well as lack of funds. The success of the riding schools alumni is much higher at the foreign schools than in the Czech Republic, which is caused both by the level of the alumni and more work opportunities abroad.
Competitive success in the performance development of tennis players

Title: Competitive success in the performance development of tennis players Abstract This study deals with the performance development analysis of players, in the conditions of the Czech Tennis Association enviroment (before 1993 of the Czechoslovak Tennis Association), and the aim is to find if the competitive success of Czech, or Czechoslovak players reached in the U12 and U14 age categories relates to their later top performance achievements at the international level. The prospective view analyses national rankings of best U12 and U14 players (during years 1989 - 2011) in relation to their future success at the professional level on the ATP and WTA Tour. The retrospective analysis focuses on players (born 1970 or younger) who reached a top 100 ATP or WTA ranking, and explores their performance development. The qualitative part of the research, based on structured open ended interviews with tennis experts, identifies, confirms and/or reviews the ways of achieving the top tennis performance. This part focuses on three topics of the long-term athletic development in tennis - characteristic features of training, demands on successful players and importance of sport competitions. Sport, health and physical self-concept of grammar school students

Title: Sport, health and physical self-concept of grammar school students Objectives: Main goal of this thesis was to analyze the relation to one's own body in youth at the age of 17. The research should analyze physical activities, physical self-concept and the health of grammar school students. These results were compared to data from 20 years ago. Methods: All the data presented in the empirical part of this thesis were obtained through a questionnaire survey among second year high school students. In total, 300 students, including 193 girls and 107 boys, took part in the survey. A standardized questionnaire was used and was taken from international research Sport, Health and Physical Concepts in Central and Eastern Europe (Mrázek, Fialová, Bychovskaja, 1998). The acquired data were recorded in writing, graphically processed and subsequently evaluated. Furthermore, the collected data were compared with the data presented in two diploma theses 20 years ago (Mešejdová, 1998), (Pavlíková, 199). Results: According to the data obtained, teenagers are aware of the influence sport and overall healthy lifestyle have on their health. Analysis of the observance of the objectives of school physical education at primary school graduates

Title: Analysis of the observance of the objectives of school physical education at primary school graduates. Objectives: The main purpose of this work was to analyze the knowledges, skills and level of physical abilities and attitudes of the 9th year of primary school graduates pursuant to the proposed standards for physical education developed according to the modified RVP ZV. Methods: To collect and successive evaluation of the data was used a questionnaire survey. A total of one hundred and forty students were interviewed, where seventy students were from Písek and seventy students from České Budějovice. Further, their physical education teachers were interviewed. Results: The results of the analysis don't correspond to the expectation that the students have sufficient knowledge of the activities influencing their health and physical education skills. Title: Verification of proposed standards for physical education in school practice Objectives: The main purpose of this thesis was to analyze knowledge, skills and level of physical abilities and attitudes of ninth grade elementary school pupils , according to the RVP ZV standards suggested for physical education. Methods: questionnaires were used to obtain data and they were analyzed afterwards Results: The results of the analysis does not correspond with the expectations that students have sufficient knowledge of activities and its influence on their health in the classes of physical education. According to the Physical education teachers, students' attitude towards physical education is rather negative. Pupils have insufficient general theoretical knowledge on this field and it would be useful to enforce (upcoming) standards into classes of physical education in the Czech republic. . Individual performance development of female heptathles

Title: Individual performance development of female heptathletes Objectives: The aim of the study was to determine the efficiency of racing performance female heptathles and use these results to analyze the evolution of performance in the heptathlon. Using a statistical program to compare the results ERP Czech and world female heptathles and discover their similarities or differences. The results also indicate the development of Czech and world record in the heptathlon and compare it with the best in individual years. Methods: The work was a qualitative research. Evaluation was based on data collected through the method of analysis of documents. Data were obtained from score cards and tables. When comparing the best performances EZV and development of Czech and world record I use the method of comparison and retrospective analysis of documents. I further data analyzed with descriptive statistics. Results: It was found that the results EZV Czech and world female heptathles is not a statistically significant difference. However, even if the results are similar EZV best performances Czech female heptathles are lower.
