The Influence of Air Humidity on the Optical Properties of Aerosol Particles.
Suchánková, Lenka
Atmospheric aerosol (AA) are ubiquitous particles in the atmosphere that influence Earth’s climatic system, environmental interactions,\nand human health. AA is emitted directly from primary sources or formed in the atmosphere via the oxidation of gas-phase precursors\nwith subsequent partitioning resulting in low-volatility products into the particle phase. Among AA, great interest is dedicated to organic\naerosol (OA) since it can represent from 20 to 90% of the total submicron mass.

Steam Grate Biomass Boiler
Suchánková, Lenka ; Křemínský, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The master's thesis describes the design of the steam boiler, which burns biomass with heat output of 6 MW. The required parameters of the steam are a temperature of 300 °C and a pressure of 2,5 MPa. The thesis is gradually devoted to stoichiometric calculations through heat losses and boiler efficiency, to the design of the combustion chambre, heat exchangers and pressure losses. Part of the thesis is drawing documentation of the boiler.
Thermal Losses of the Biomass Boiler
Suchánková, Lenka ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the heat loss of the solid fuel boiler, especially on the loss of heat conduction and transfer to the surroundings. In order to minimalize thermal leaks through the boiler walls, materials with good isolation capabilities must be selected when designing. In Microsoft Excel, a universal mathematical model was created to calculate the heat flux flowing through the flat wall of the boiler, from which temperatures can be obtained on the inside of the wall. The work describes the calculation method on which the model is based and its correctness is verified on an experiment based on sensing of temperature fields of wall sur-faces of equipment burning biomass by thermal camera. The model can be used for a wall with up to 9 layers of material, where the wall can be cooled (heat loss) by air and water.
