Detached house

The subjekt of this bachelor’s thesis was to design a detached house and process the study and the design documentation for this house. House will serve as permanent housing for a 4 member family. The walls in basement will consist of permanent formwork, in ground floor will consist of cut brick blocks with an additional contact thermal insulation system ETICS, the ceiling will be reinforced concrete constructions and the house will have a non-moving flat roof. Part of the documentation i salso design covered parking place for two cars.

Revitalization of a multi-purpose building in the village

The aim of master‘s thesis is to renovate old agricultural building and design it as nzeb building. The thesis contains three parts: 1st – design of the building, 2nd – design of building services, and 3rd – assessment of the impact of different operations in building on energy consumption. The results are then evaluated for economic and environmental savings. The renovated building in village Rozkoš will be used for many purposes. It will be divided into 3 parts – a multifunctional hall, a pub, and a club room. Multifunctional hall will be used for various activities for village itself or public. In the pub will be only cold kitchen with small dishes and beverages. Club room can be used for elderly people, workout or young people. The building is low rise and structural system is combined. The vertical load-bearing walls and columns are built of bricks. Horizontal load-bearing structures are cross vaults made also of bricks. Saddle roof is made of timber roof truss. The building site contains also an outdoor car park and a garden. The project was carried out in the Revit.

Wine making house

The subject of this master thesis is a design of wine house which comes together with restaurant and accommodation in Strazovice near Kyjov. It includes design study and all the detailed drawings of the building. The building is designed with three services - winery, restaurant and accommodation. Winery is divided into separate rooms for wine processing, finishing and wine aging, also storage, distribution and sale of wine. Canteen service includes kitchen with accessories, restaurant with dining, separated lounge, vaulted cellar and room for degustation. Lounge, cellar and degustation room is primary determined for different corporate events, conferences, weddings, family events and others. For building were chosen descending lands at the edge of Strazovice.. The main reason for this decision is the view that this place provides because of its higher position. Also this village is a part of region, for which wine production is typical. The shape of the object is rectangular and consists of three floors. Two upper floors are receding with comparison to the first floor. This formed a part of terrace which is connected with the oval part on pillars. Basement is situated completely below ground, only the south side is partly uncovered. Construction is made of reinforced concrete. Ground floors are with ventilated frontage. Frontage of the first floor is covered with wooden cladding, and frontage of the second floor is covered with plaster. Vertical constructions are made of lime-sand blocks and horizontal constructions are reinforced concrete. The roof is built of wooden trusses with arched upper part. On the roof there are installed photovoltaic panels for electricity which is used in the building. Rainwater is held in tank, servers as a water supply for the building. Multi-purpose Centre of Town, Jevisovice

The theme of this diploma thesis is the Multipurpose Center of Jevišovice. The complex consists of two buildings and an adjacent parking lot. Building A is wheelchair-accessible, stand alone with a flat roof over three above-ground floors. The building has a gallery, a marriage hall and the Jewsovice office. Buildings B are situated as separate buildings, with a flat roof over two above-ground floors. There are rooms for social activities in the building.

Cathedral today

The main topic of the Diploma thesis is a complex design to rescue cathedral Notre-Dame in Paris. The work is firstly focused on the reconstruction of the structure including its collapsed parts and preserving a link to the destructive fire in 2019. The mainstay of the thesis is a design of new roof space and its use by broad public. Due to uncertainties about the structure stability disrupted by the fire a great emphasis has been put on the weight reduction of the newly built roof structure. The design makes a genuine attempt to be sensitive with respect to the spiritual function of the cathedral, thus the public roof access is separated from the cathedral itself thanks to a newly built underground spaces that are also included in the design.

Sports and cultural centre, Otradov

The subject of this diploma thesis is the preparation of project documentation for the implementation of new sports and cultural centre Otradov. The dominant feature of the complex objects stands and multipurpose hall. The building is architecturally designed with an effort to fit in too much of rural architecture. Multipurpose hall has two floors, one third roofed flat roof, two-thirds of the roof ridge. The core system is aerated concrete blocks. The building is two-storey grandstand with the carrier deck. Roofing is solved by means of broken wooden beams. Sanitary facilities is dealt wall system and roofed shed roof. Athletics track, the surface of the polyurethane mixture designed for sports.

Hotel in Brno

Subject of this diploma this is prepare a documentation for the construction of a hotel. Designed object is located in the Brno city. The hotel meets the conditions of a three-star (***) economic standard. It is designed with 18 accommodation units, of which 2 rooms for disabled. The hotel accommodates only 38 people. There is a restaurant with a terrace in the hotel too. Underground garages primarily designed for parking cars of hotel visitors. The object is designed in a rectangular shape. The construction system of the hotel is combined. Perimeter masonry in the upper floors is made of ceramic blocks, inside are a reinforced concrete skeleton. The foundation structure is designed as a system of waterproof concrete. The floor structure is designed as reinforced concrete slabs. The roofing will be solved by a flat roof with a gravel layer. The whole building is insulated to meet all the requirements of energy consumption of buildings. The main entrance is oriented to the west. In front of the building there is a parking space for hotel guests.

Residential care home, Bílá voda

The subject of my master’s thesis deals with design of a new social care institution building. The building is located on land with spectacular view in Kratochvilka village. The building has four floors and basement. The building has forty beds for seniors and limited options of catering service. The building consists dining room, offices and nurse room on the first floor. Surgery, massage saloon and technical background is located in the basement. On the second, third and fourth floor are senior’s rooms. The walls will consist of bricks with an additional contact thermal insulation system ETICS, the ceiling will be reinforced concrete constructions and the house will have a walkable flat green roof. Design documentation was processed using the program AutoCAD 2014.

Guesthouse "U ODry"

The subject of this diploma thesis is the project documentation of the new building - pension U Odry in Přerov-Kozlovice. Accommodation capacity is 36 people. In the pension there is also restaurant. The building is designed as a three-storey. On the first floor there are rooms for guests entering the accommodation facility, facilities for accommodation, technical facilities of the building and the restaurant, including premises for its operation. There are guest rooms on the second and third floors. The bases are made up of strip foundations. The external loadbearing mansards and partitions are made of YTONG lightweight concrete blocks. The internal loadbearing masonry is made of SILKA lime-sand blocks. The ceiling structure is designed from SPIROLL prestressed concrete floor slab. The roofing of the building is solved using flat vegetation roofs.

Laser welding of plastics

The bachelor presents a brief characteristics of thermoplastics welding methods followed by a more detailed description of laser welding of thermoplastics, i.e. laser description, division and types. Then, conditions and parameters of welding are defined. The experimental part is focused namely on visual welding tests on a test sample. The sample consists of two types of material – pure polymethyl methacrylate and black polycarbonate – which are used in car headlamp production. For welding, a diode laser designed for thermoplastics welding was used. The main target of inspection were flaws that were visible on macroscopically enlarged images. The tested welds mostly showed porosity and air bubbles. Finally, an evaluation of the experiment is conducted.
