Comparison of the sitcom Roseanne and Helena with regard to theories of social classes and lifestyles

The bachelor thesis Comparison sitcoms Roseanne and Helena deals with, as the title implies, comparision of two sitcoms. The work focuses on all aspects of sitcoms. Starting with a name and ending with the description of characters, environments and storylines. The aim of the thesis is to answer the question whether these two sitcoms differ,or not. If so, how? Furthermore, the social stratification of families presented in the sitcom is analyzed. This analysis is based on the Bourdieu's theory of four forms of capital. Moreover, further attention is paid to the connection of lifestyle and membership of a particular social class. The research is based on qualitative research, respectively, from the content analysis with qualitative approach. The research is based on the observation of several episodes of the mentioned sitcoms. Subsequent analysis, comparison is based on the detailed notes taken from the observation and episode-watching. The thesis also defines the term sitcom itself, yet it provides a brief overview of the unique sitcoms produced by the United States and Great Britain. Additionally, it includes all Czech sitcoms and soap operas that can also be considered.
General and special physical training in kickboxing

Title: General and special physical training in kickboxing Goal: Main target of this testimony is to evaluate conditional training of adult representative kickboxers, which are focused to semi-contact sports. Another goal is to compere all representative individuals in selected criteria with additional male and female comparison related to their specially selected motional abilities. Methods: The analyses method and comparison method have been used in my thesis. The analyses method has been applied on elaboration and description of individual condition on prepare of each representative. I have received all used data based on questioner form. Method of comparison has been used to compare all representatives. Than the same mothed has been applied to compare male and female members in special motional abilities, important to all kickboxers. Results: Results have been stipulated based on questioner form. Representatives have mainly very similar training. Male and female individuals develop mainly knuckle mobility and, very rarely, coordination. Males train mainly short term condition. On the other hand, females, surprisingly, trains explosive power. Compare of the czech sitcom production with foreign countries

The aim of the thesis "Comparison of the Czech sitcom production with foreign countries" is to define the sitcom characteristics, Outline its history in the three countries, The United States of America, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (hereinafter only as USA and GB) and the Czech Republic, describe production in our country, with subsequent comparison with other countries and finally to provide an answer for the question: " Why is not the Czech sitcom production of the same quality as abroad, especially as in The USA and GB?" The result is a summary of the differences between Czech and foreign sitcom productions. Meanwhile it provides an answer for the question possessed in the begining. The differences lie mainly in the orientation of the actors, their teams and schools in each country. In the Czech Republic, attention is focused primarily on theatrical play or film, and work around it. Other differences lie in financial sphere and and a lack of experience. Yet it is evident that Czech sitcoms have potential in the future. Also to some unsuccessful sitcoms that we have been able to see on television.
Everyday life in Moruš

Thesis "Everyday life in Moruš" deals with everyday life in a small border village on the edge of the Bohemian Forest (Český les). The main focus is on gainful and ennobling brigades in the village and events associated with them. Included is a volunteer fire department, fire teachers' lounge/ pub, carnival entertainment, children's day and maypole. Thesis is based on the literature about anthropological and ethnographic research dealing with everyday life and dividing population on "old-timers" and "newcomers" as it is in theory of Norbert Elias. The practical part is based on qualitative research, complemented by ethnographic methods. Research is using participant observation and semi-structured interviews, which are the ground for the analysis of connections between activities and also influence of participation or non-participation on the perception of individuals given by other villagers. At the same time, the study is posing a question whether there is some importance in being active during social and cultural events, which would project to the life of the villagers. Whether they are somehow stigmatized and judged by other villagers for their absence.
