Interesting things of French regions - Auvergne

The titel of the thesis: Interesting things of French regions - Auvergne This thesis deals with one of the metropolitan French regions, the region of Auvergne. It is primarily occupied with its interesting things and curiosities, which make it different from other regions. What is more, this thesis is concerned with the didactic application of the life and institutions of this region in the teaching of the French language. The aim of the thesis is therefore to introduce the region of Auvergne with all its regional interesting things and curiosities in a well arranged way and subsequently to suggest its didactic processing and to include it in the teaching of the French language. The didactic processing offers suggestions of various activities for different target groups of learners. As sources for this thesis have been used primarily books and publications focusing on French regions and the didactics of life and institutions, as well as current internet sources. The didactic processing of the life and institutions was mainly based on the praxis and creativity of the author. The thesis includes twelve chapters. The sources and the donors of the development aid are described; special attention has been paid to the international organisations, to the European Union and to the development aid provided by France and the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to present the critical state of Education in former French colonies in Africa and the effort to solve the situation made by international organizations and France in particular. The main sources of information are the international studies and evaluation reports elaborated by the expert teams of the United Nations and the World Bank, together with direct personal experience made in the described countries. Title of the thesis: Districts and places of Paris in the course of history: Montmartre Keywords: streets, squares, history, cabaret, bohemian, film, point of interest Abstract: The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the Parisian district of Montmartre. In many aspects it is quite an exceptional quarter and totally different from other districts of Paris. Its characteristic features make it famous worldwide. Thus the chief aim of the work was to try to find out what is so specific about it, what makes its position in Paris so privileged and in what way it has contributed to the overall development of French culture. The work is conceived as a specific historical and cultural view of the district and strives at picking up its most characteristic features which brought it to the notice of the French themselves as well as members of other peoples around the world. What contributed to the latter to a great degree were its architectonic monuments, and, moreover, its cabarets and concert cafés. On top of that, it was also made famous through the works of many renowned artists.

This bachelor thesis entitled Religious and secular holidays in France maps the French holidays and feast days, the traditions and the folk customs during the year. It focuses on the religious holidays (Christian, Islamic, Jewish), the secular days, the significant sport and cultural events. It acquaints the readers with regional folklore festivities. The aim of the thesis is to briefly sketch the historical development of the traditions and their current form. The characterization of the religious holidays is supplemented by links related to basic ideas and values of Christianity, Islam and Judaism. The thesis gives a brief insight into historical development of the calendar and offers possible ways of sorting the feast days.

Title of the thesis: Provence mirrored in its legends Keywords: legend, myth, tradition, folklore, Provence, anthropology Abstract: The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the French region Alpes-Côte-d'Azur and its legends.The first part is focused on the region itself from several aspects. There is the geographical location, the climate and the typical products of the said region. Furthermore, a part of the thesis consists of the history of the region spreading from the antiquity until the middle ages. A very significant part is that of the language environment of Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur. The legends, which are sorted into the historical development of the region, are then individually analyzed.

Keywords: bilingualism, bilingual schools, educational system - Czech and French, Czech schools abroad, French schools and French nurseries in the Czech Republic, register of schools Abstract: The aim of my thesis is to explore education in bilingual schools and support of bilingual education in general. First, I will focus on Czech schools abroad which, using native Czech speakers, serve as a direct link to the Czech language. My goal is to describe the way these schools are founded and administered, and the way they are connected to the Czech Republic. Secondly, I will cover French language instruction in the Czech Republic, both in pre-schools and elementary schools. The objective is to provide a comprehensive list of pre-schools and elementary schools, both private and state-funded, where French is taught at different levels, i.e. as a language of instruction of other subjects or as a separate subject. In my research I will use the data provided by the Czech Ministry of Education, regional authorities and private school administrators.
