Utilisations of the “Open Dynamics Engine” for modelling of mobile robots
Kovář, Jiří ; Ondroušek, Vít (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the problems of virtual physical modelling of mobile robots for the needs of their real-time control. To create a virtual physical world, an open-source project OPEN DYNAMICS ENGINE (ODE) was used, the results were displayed facilitating DirectX graphical interface. Simulated systems in ODE were written in C# on Microsoft.NET platform. The properites and qualities in ODE were verified by simulation in several types of simple systems and on a simplified robot model "Kracmera I.". Subsequently, the usability of ODE for its control was being verified.

MS Excel and Word Add-In for retrieving data from SQL database
Kamrla, David ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focus on development and implementation of the Add-In for Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word programs for a straight-forward access to the SQL database and writing results into an active worksheet or document. The Add-In creates user-friendly access into the Conference database for Institute of Automation and Computer Science for frequently used SQL queries. The Add-In can be reconfigured to be aligned for work with another database without change to the source code.

Software for storing and processing of operational data
Hůlka, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis focuses on creating a software for storing and processing of operational data. The main purpose is to develop an application which collects data from a measuring device through serial port, processes them automatically and saves them to an existing database. The application will be developed in LabVIEW 2014 and the database in SQL Server Express 2012. First of all both development environments are described in the introduction, followed by creation and implementation of the application and the database. Results are summed up in the end.

Machine vision implementation for control of parallel mechanism
Zábrša, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis covers issues of parallel robotics. It is focused on challenges of one particular type of parallel robot – delta robot. In this thesis it is described history of parallel robotics, kinematical calculations and machine vision. In the last part of this thesis is description of practical programming of delta robot and palletisation task using machine vision. Parallel robots have, compared to serial robots, certain advantages, but also disadvantages. Parallel robots are more stable, lower mass and they have higher accelerations and can do more work cycles. Using machine vision they can be used for sorting tasks, for example to put product into crates or sorting of machine parts.

Design and implementation of application for measured data processing
Blahút, Jozef ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the development of desktop application for the processing of measured data from aircraft engine stand. Its main aim is to simplify the analysis of obtained data, their evaluation and correlation. At the beginning of the work an issue of making applications on Microsoft Windows is discussed, followed by description of application´s architecture, its implementation and the conclusion deals with options for working with acquired data.

Design of control system for garden irrigation with Siemens LOGO!
Michl, Antonín ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a garden irrigation control system, its components and its implementation to the Siemens LOGO!. The individual components were chosen and the control program was created. The proposal is based on the specific input conditions and it takes into account the general assumptions. The LOGO!Soft Comfort simulation program was used to design the PLC control program and the LOGO! 0BA6 module was used as the logic controller. Complete system was tested in laboratories of the Institute of Automation and Computer science at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Brno. The testing results showed proper and desired behavior.
