A name of a diploma work: Modem means ofdevelopment ofmaximum speed A student: František Hoffmann A supervisor of a diploma work: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D. Goals of a diploma work: Observing of changes of chosen quantities depending on each other on supramaximal sprint (a frequency and a length of a step) in a comparison to zero-level sprint of maximum speed (a frequency and a length of a step). A Method of a work: Experimental reaching of over-maximum speed by means of The Speedy System and evaluating of reached facts by a tíme analysis in the service workplace CASRI, keeping balance of the experiment (inner validity) and final evaluating through: a middle value, authoritative divergence, setting of a regress equation ofmaximum and over-maximum sprint and a comparison ofrelation ofzero-levels and dependent quantities ofsingle sprints, an equilibration ofthe ABBA experiment. Results: In the experiment was noticed a change of zero level in the comparison to independent quantities about 7,5 % in increasing of maximum speed up to over-maximum speed of all sprints. As regards the comparison of zero level to dependent quantities there was noticed increasing or decreasing of the step frequency about 1,6 % in dependence on shortening or extension of a step length, witch proportion on supramaximal speed 6%....

Thema works: Desk study concerning EPOC for fitness training Student: Romana Klimovičová Supervisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D. Objective: The aims of this work are to give a complex view of problems of Excess Post Exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC) based on literature retrieval (primarily foreign publications) and to summarize all relevant knowledge available, as it seems to be key to the question of efficiency and the choice of the optimum training loads. Methods: Literature retrieval of information by using both foreign and czech resources published between 1970 and 2009. Summary: This work should serve both coaches and athletes as a brief summary of techniques and methods used in fitness training to monitor, analyze and evaluate the training load. The main aim is to introduce the less commonly known physiological indicator called "EPOC" and its potential applications. Last but not least, the work should serve as a starting point for future research in the field of the EPOC indicator. Key words: Training efficiency, fitness training, EPOC, oxygen debt, SUUNTO T6

Fousková, Petra ; Hojka, Vladimír (advisor) ; Krátký, Petr (referee)
ANALYSING OF TWO YEARS TRAINING MACROCYCLES (2006-2007 a 2007- 2008) RUNNER ON 1500 M Objectives: We focus on the contain of training unit, and types of endurance with respect to training sessions. We analyze special training exercises and methods in the season from the perspective of dynamic value changes and intensity workouts in that season. The main goal was to measure relationship between speed and endurance skills and evaluate their influence on the performance. Methods: In our thesis we have used the comparison analysis method of two years training cycles. We used percentage value for accurate quantifications, and qualitative analysis coming out from dividing whole running facility on general and special. We measure relationships between speed and endurance skills, and their influence on 1500 m distance. We analyze running log (OTU and STU), and following dynamic changes of these determinants. Results: We have described a training process of an advanced competitive runner in middle distance 1500 m at an efficiency level. We have found out that the general training was preferred rather than special training. This way we have reached a positive training effect, which culminated in both cases in the Czech national championship on track. Keywords: endurance, middle distance 1500 m, training...
