Political trial with Stanislav Zela and Co.
Záveský, Miroslav ; Koura, Petr (advisor) ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee)
The political trial of church leaders in January 1950 is one of many examples of the mass illegality of the time. On the basis of archival sources stored in the National Archive and other memory institutions, I want to describe the course of the investigation, which was the responsibility of the State Security. Thanks to the preserved transcripts, I will be able to reconstruct the exact course of the trial. I want to combine archival sources with press reports to create a plastic picture of this political trial. I would like to conclude my work with a brief description of the imprisonment of the convicted priests in Czechoslovak prisons.
The Zenkl family in the fight against totalitarian regimes
Zenkl, Jan ; Koura, Petr (advisor) ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the life stories of members of the Zenkl family who resisted Nazism and Communism or became its victims. It primarily try to highlights activities during their greatest anti-totalitarian activities and events when totalitarian regimes were in power. Their activities during their youth and the last phases of their lives are also mentioned. KEYWORDS PhDr. Petr Zenkl, JUDr. Jan Zenkl, Rudolf Zenkl, Ing. Python scripts for automated editing of PDF files
Škeřík, Patrik ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
The subject of the Bachelor thesis is programming a script in python programming language using the pikePDF library. This script fixes incorrect encoding of symbols in PDF documents.
Multi-protocol sniffer and analyzer
Lukáš, Vojtěch ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the design of a device that captures Bluetooth Low Energy or IEEE 802.15.4 frames and sends them via Ethernet interface to a computer for further analysis using Wireshark. The device is based on the CC2652RB microchip from Texas Instruments, which is accompanied by WIZnet W5500 Ethernet controller. This thesis describes software and hardware aspects of said device, furthermore it briefly mentions a custom designed Wireshark dissector. In addition, this thesis contains a quick handbook for Texas Instruments microcontrollers software development.
Scripts for automated editing of fonts in PDF files
Gmitter, Jakub ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with the issue of font encoding in PDF documents. Proper font encoding is necessary for searching and copying text from such documents. Thesis includes a description of the internal structure of PDF documents, page representation, font types and their encoding, and important objects needed for proper font representation. Understanding of these areas was necessary for development of scripts that are able to repair incorrect font encoding. Two Python scripts were developed as part of the thesis. The first one verifies the integrity of repaired PDF files using SHA-256 hashes computed from their contents. The second script repairs corrupted font encodings in the documents. The necessary information for the functionality of both scripts has been stored in the corresponding JSON structures. The repair script targets PostScipt fonts of type 1. Core function of the repair script is the generation of a ToUnicode object that correctly maps glyphs to Unicode codes within the font. The script has been tested on approximately 200 electronic issues of a Czech magazine that have been provided as sample data. From these sample files, only those that had completely corrupted font encodings were chosen for further work. Other sample magazines only had corrupt encoding of characters with diacritical marks. These magazines were analyzed, but the script is unable to repair them. Commented Python source code, compiled Windows executables and a user guide are available in the electronic attachment and in the author's GitHub repository.
Java Implementation of Profinet, Ethernet/IP and Modbus Protocols
Almáši, Marek ; Štůsek, Martin (referee) ; Zeman, Kryštof (advisor)
The aim of the work was to become familiar with the properties, structure and use of industrial protocols and their subsequent implementation. As part of the implementation, it was necessary to observe all the rules and structures of the modbus, profinet and ethernet/IP protocols themselves, as well as the protocols in which they are encapsulated within the OSI model. The implementation was done in java.
Design of desktop applications using the workflow library
Zeman, Kryštof ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis generally focuses on history and development of work- flow library, briefly describing most important features and options, which gives the reader basics needed to understand and orientation in the topic. In practical part of the thesis is detailly analized prime example, which is showing options, flexibility and advantages of connecting WF and WPF libraries. Primarily the thesis uses the most widely used model and shows how to pass information between workflow and WPF.
Modelling of mmWave Propagation Channel for Off-body Communication Scenarios
Navzdory pokrokům v rámci bezdrátových sítí v přímé blízkosti člověka stále systémy 5. generace postrádají dostatečnou šířku pásma a dostatečně nízkou odezvu.
Implementation of the NB-IoT and LTE-M Technologies within the NS-3 Simulation Tool
Lubajo, Lubajo Moses Wolyan ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Mašek, Pavel (advisor)
Sítě LPWA (Low-Power Wide-Area) je možné v dnešní době realizovat bezdrátovými komunikačními technologiemi NarrowBand IoT (NB-IoT), Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) a Sigfox.
