The possibilities and conditions for the use of tools for analyzing customer behavior on social networks

The thesis deals with free tools that can be used to analyze customers of SMB e-commerce enterprises on the social network Facebook in order to increase their competitiveness within the social network. The theoretical part focuses on defining key terms, distinguishes types of social media and describes present social networks situation in world and in the Czech Republic from a users perspective and in the Czech Republic also from an enterprises perspective. Furthermore, the theoretical part also deals with possibilities that social networks can offer to the SMB enterprises. And as well it identifies different types of analytical tools that can be used for purposes of monitoring customers or analysis of customers. In the beginning of the practical part there is introduced the company Dobrutka.EU s.r.o. (the e commerce B2C company). Afterwards is presented the analysis of the survey about how SMB companies that operate the best Czech e-shops monitor and analyze their activities and customers from the social network Facebook. Subsequently there is handled the selection of appropriate tools for SME companies, which are also analyzed in the following chapter. At the end of the practical part there is practical application of knowledge from the thesis to Dobrutka.EU s.r.o. through the design and pilot deployment of appropriate procedures and analytic tools, whose effectiveness is evaluated at the end of chapter. The main benefit is in act of finding and verification of free tools and effective method that allows for detailed analysis of company customers even for micro companies and thus also effectively achieve positive economic results even in emerging facebook presentations.
Support for IT projects and IT projects portfolio through social networks analysis.

This doctoral dissertation focuses on the area of IT projects portfolio management and IT projects. Dissertation summarizes development of IT projects portfolio management, its benefits, problems, and integration of IT PPM philosophy into selected widely use methodologies and IT frameworks. Further work summarizes developments and main findings of social networks analysis and relevant findings from psychological and sociological field, team work and process of organization. Also presents results of two surveys, on their basis have been formulated conclusions and recommendations. The main part of the work focuses on design of additional processes for MMDIS ŘIP mainly by use of social networks analysis to support the selection of the appropriate staff to selected positions in an IT project. Furthermore, the proposal presents categorization of IT roles according to selected metrics of social network nodes.
Srovnávací analýza efektivnosti nástrojů pro monitorování sociálních sítí

The main objective of this master thesis is a comparative effectiveness analysis of selected social media monitoring tools. The theoretical part of the thesis first familiarizes the reader with the core terms, which will be used throughout the thesis. The next chapter focuses on the detailed specification of classic online marketing. It describes the growing trend of social media marketing and charts out its current status on the Czech online market. In addition, the vital SEO and SEM techniques are also described. The subsequent chapter is devoted to social network marketing, where the increasing power of "word of mouth" in purchase behavior, is explained. Last but not least, illustrative examples of the most successful social media marketing campaigns are listed. The next part deals with the issues of monitoring social media. The reasons for monitoring social media, its principles and features are stated in this chapter. The practical part of this thesis has a described methodology for testing selected tools, acceptance criteria and metrics of measurement. The selected tools are compared in terms of qualitative properties and the relevance of results, both from a global perspective with English phrases, as well as from the perspective of local phrases suitable for the Czech environment. In the second test a set of free monitoring tools is determined and compared with the tools from the first test. In the conclusion is the last measurement, which is proposes the most appropriate monitoring tool for small sized Czech company.
Social networks to support competitiveness in companies

This thesis focuses on the issue of social networks. Social networks are one of the many types of social media, which are defined in the introduction of this thesis and described their characteristics. The thesis focuses on the options of two social networks in marketing and on the internet marketing in general. There are three criteria for the use of social net-works in companies -- sales promotion, publicity and communication. They are first de-scribed theoretically, analyzed in the environment of a particular company, the company Student Agency, and ultimately within these criteria suggested solutions to improve the use of social networks in the company. The aim of thesis is to define the possibilities of using social networks in companies to promote competitiveness, describe the options on real company and suggest possible improvements.
Utilization of social networks in banking sector of the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with the problem of social networking in banking sector of the Czech Republic. The goal of the thesis is to define a set of best practices for successful activity of banks on social networks, based on own research of current activity of selected Czech banks in social networks environment. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter summarizes the findings of previous theses, which dealt with similar topic. The second chapter deals with the problem of social networking theoretically, describes the actual most important social networks in the world, suggests their division according to typical attributes and describes the most important ways of social networking usage for business. The third chapter contains own research of social networks usage by Czech banks, definition of criteria for evaluation of the research and the evaluation itself. The final chapter contains the set of best practices based on the research, which can be used for successful activity of banks in social networks environment. Keywords
Analysis of Emergency Medical Services web pages

This thesis analyses webpages of Emergency Medical Services. Proper analysis in this thesis is divided into three parts. The goal of the first part of the analysis is to find out potential lacks of webpages with regard to rules of accessibility. There is special need to accent the importance of accessibility of webpages of such organi-zations, because potential customers can suffer from different handicaps, which are deeply analyzed in this thesis. In the next part of this thesis, I analyze the Search engine optimization. In this part, I am trying to find out, if webpages are well-structured with regard to browsers and their needs. I also discover a number of backlinks, which points to webpages placed on the specific domain. Last part of the analysis looks deeply into a usability, which is the key factor for the success of every webpages. In the next part of the work, data, which were discovered in my analysis of specific webpages, are represented. In the last short part of thesis, which is called "Effective Webpage", the best parts of solution of specific webpages are highlighted and con-nected into one comprehensive solution, which could be an effective one.
Market analysis of preparatory courses at universities from the perspective of internet marketing

This thesis focuses on internet marketing. Its goal is to describe the possibilities of internet marketing, to conduct a survey of preparatory course selection, to describe SEO methods used by organizations which offer these courses. And also to offer suggestions related to the propagation of preparatory courses of the University of Economics. Chapter two focuses on the description of premises related to the emergence of internet marketing. Chapter three is aimed at an introduction to internet marketing and marketing in search engines. Chapter four is dedicated to an introduction to search engine optimization. Chapter five looks more closely into other possibilities and methods of internet marketing and describes their possible uses. Chapter six focuses at the realization of a questionnaire research and interprets its results. In chapter seven websites of organizations offering preparatory courses are analyzed. Chapter eight contains an assessment of web pages and suggestions for improving the propagation of preparatory courses of the University of Economics. In chapter nine conclusions, thesis contributions and assessment of the findings utilizability can be found.
Historical development and comparison of chosen methodologies for managing ICT projects

Bachelor thesis deals with problems of ICT project management methodologies. The thesis sets out a total of three objectives. The first objective is to identify, characterize and describe uniformly chosen methodologies for managing ICT projects and to map their historical development. The second objective is to compare chosen methodologies according to set of specific criteria. The third objective is to select a suitable methodology for the specified model of ICT departments or companies based on their organizational culture and type of solved projects. In the theoretical part of this thesis basic concepts relating to the issue are defined at first and then chosen methodologies are identified and described uniformly. In the analytical part of the thesis the specific criteria are determined and the methodologies are compared on the base of them. There are also shown and justified reasons for selection of suitable methodology for a model of ICT department or company. Author's own contribution to the problem lies mainly in the comparison of chosen methodologies and, in a reasoned selection of a suitable methodology for a model of ICT department or company.
The possibilities of using social networks in company

Social networks are on the rise. They are used by businesses of all sizes and across industries. But they are really the way to increase employee productivity, increase sales and overall interest in the company? Or is it just a fashion trend? Possibilities of using social networking as a tool to support business are widely debated. This paper is a summary of objective and subjective views and experiences with the use of social networking in the company. Author acquaints readers with the possibilities of using social networks for internal communication. It places emphasis on practical experience and concepts of various public social networks, and compares them with private social networks. It then discusses the possibilities of using social networks for external communication and marketing presentation, again with emphasis on the real usability and concept of each individual network. The paper also listed the most recent studies and surveys that show the importance and development of social networks in the 21st century. The aim is to form a comprehensive overview of the utilization of social networking in a company with a focus on internal communication and communication with the surrounding businesses.
Possible ways to gain information about internet users.

This thesis is aimed on internet security, gaining the anonymity and creating a guide to increase self defense of internet users. The goal of this paper is to describe the types of cyber attacks that can be done on internet users and to describe circular flow of information about users on internet and its use by third parties. Additional goal is to design the ways of reaching the anonymity on internet and to provide a guide to increase a self defense of the users. This thesis gradually describes creation of internet, world-wide-web and web standards, which is important for understanding the vulnerability of today's internet. Thesis is complemented by enumeration of relevant protocols of ISO/OSI model, which has share on user's everyday communication. Next part pass to attacks itself both technical based (e.g. Man-In-The-Middle) and social based (e.g. Phishing). This paper also aims on collecting the data of internet users by third parties and on the ways how to prevent it and reach the anonymity on the internet. End of this paper belongs to the list of security steps for standard internet users, by which they will be able to minimize the risk to minimum. Final chapter presents online blog that was created to enhance awareness of internet users.
