Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

My Bachelor thesis focuses on a financial analysis of the problems emerging from the current situation of the company Stavona spol. s.r.o. which produces plastic fillings. The first part provides theoretical findings in financial analysis and bankruptcy and reliability models. In the second part these are applied to the specific company. The final part is based on the results and proposes a complex solution and suggestions for the development and improvement of the company’s situation which might help secure its position in the market.

The diploma thesis deals with questions of predominantly information ethics and encounter in practice. The aim of the thesis is to describe and analyze the ethical problems associated with information institutions, as well as to conduct research in Czech libraries. The work is divided into five parts. The first part deals with the theory of several types of ethics, describes the information society and also presents a topic of creative common theme as a topic of citation ethics. The second part deals with the codes of ethics of some information institutions, then devoted to libraries as a main interest of the work, described their definition and system in the Czech Republic. Subsequently is presented topic of ethic and libraries. The third part summarizes the topic of ethical codes and ethics on the websites of supranational, largely library organizations, along with some national ethical codes. The fourth part presents two examples of studies, one focusing on the Code of Ethic and the other on ethics violations in one of the libraries in Florida. Date: 22. 3. 2015 Abstrakt This thesis deals with the legal regulation of liquidation of a company in the context of the new legislation, which is effective from 1st January 2014. The previous legal regulation of liquidation was considered successful and was largely taken. The aim of this thesis is to describe the process of liquidation in the new legislation, subsequently find differences in both regulations and explain them, and finally remove interpretative ambiguities. The thesis consists, besides introduction and conclusion, of the five chapters. The first chapter deals with the legislation of liquidation, especially its development, which culminated in the adoption of the new Civil Code no. 89/2012 Coll. and the Business Corporations Act no. 90/2012 Coll. Dissolution of a company is a prerequisite of liquidation, except cases of court declaration of its invalidity. Hence the next chapter discusses ways of dissolution of a company, which include legal proceedings, public authority's decision, expiration term, and purpose achievement. Estrogens in surface waters - sources, concentration, detection

Estrogenity in the surface water become to be a topic, where the orientation for not educated people should be difficult. At first, estrogens in the surface water cannot be substituted by the expressionenndocrine disrupting compounds (ED) what is more wide term (including estrogenity and e.g. androgenity). Compounds with estrogenic activity detected in surface waters are not only the contraceptive pills as is somewhere simplified, but it is a wide spectrum of compounds like PCB, heavy metals, pharmacs, pesticides etc. Moreover – estrogenic activity display also naturally synthetized compounds by plants (phytoestrogens), fungi (mycoestrogens), or by algae and cyanobacteria (phycoestrogens). These compounds are not analysed in the surface water yet. Exception is some rare analyses of phytoestrogens, we presume, that phycoestrogens can be produced in aquatic ecosystem in ecotoxicologically relevant concentrations. Estrogens can be detected in the water, sediments or in the aquatic biota by instrumental analyses (LC-MS/MS), or by ELISA, or e.g. by bioassays, which can detect also so called potential estrogens ( are able to bind to some of estrogen receptors, but effects in vivo were not proved yet). In the case of the comparison, or the interpretation of results from different sources we must consider the used detection method. Instrumental analyses are dedicated to selected compounds.. Bioassays represent the sum of compounds with (with proved, or potential) estrogenic activity. That is why we strongly recommend to pay an attention on the methods of sampling and analyse in the case of interpretation and comparison of estrogenity results from different resources. In the case of literature data usingincomparable methods or high detection limit we recommend the high carefulness. Where it is possible we recommend the combination of instrumental analyse with in vitro bioassays for detection of estrogenity in surface waters.
