A Web-Based Application to Search Online Library Catalogues
Polách, Ondřej ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The Internet is since its inception, source of various informations. Their retrieve was standardized with the advent of Z39.50 protocol, which today is still evolving and it also serves as the cornerstone for modern retrieve information protocols. Protocols group SRU/SRW is example of new protocols which are oriented into service-oriented architecture. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement a unified web-based information gateway for retrieve informations from various library catalogues from single location. Development platform will be .NET and Mono. The biggest challenge is to use WCF services with system's client-side build on Silverlight technology, and last, but not least, is the solve problems arising from the current incomplete compatibility between Mono and .NET, especially with regard to these two components. Both will be host in ASP.NET web application. The main requirement is portability solution on various platforms. If manage to achieve compatibility between Mono and .NET, application can run on all platforms that are supported by Mono technology.
Object Database Spatial Extension
Polách, Ondřej ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
Still increasing requirements are made on database systems, because users need to work with still more complex data. Because of the historical development of database systems, post-relational database systems are mainly used today. As follows from their name, post-relational database systems are built on relational database systems and expand them so that they are able to work with complex data. The vast majority of today's spatial database systems is based on post-relational databases. However, this work is trying to find a connection between object and spatial databases. The obtained knowledge is reflected in the implementation of the object database spatial extension.
Optimizing the shape of the pumping chambers differentially pumped chamber for a new concept of the electron microscope.
Polách, Ondřej ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Maxa, Jiří (advisor)
The present work deals with electron microscopy, electron microscopy primarily environmental. The main task of the work will draft the optimal shape of the differentially pumped chamber, dividing the pressure difference between tube and chamber with sample for a new concept of an electron microscope. By ANSYS Fluent will be analyzed pumping gas. Subsequently, according to the results obtained will be a modified form of the differential Chamber and to achieve the lowest gas pressure on the track of the electron beam.
Degradation of nanocomposites
Polách, Ondřej ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
The present work deals with the electrical properties of nanocomposite materials. Samples for the practical part consisting of epoxy resin as matrix and SiO2 as nanofillers and were made in four different percentage performance. There is investigated the influence of thermal degradation of nanocomposite materials change resistivity, loss factor and relative permitivity.
