Supported Employment and People with Learning Difficulties

Developing Key Competences as a Possible Way of Prevention from Unemployment of Women Coming Back from Maternity Leave

The work is focused on the problems of the unemployment of the women after the maternity leave ( with the pre- school children ). The task of the work is to describe the possibilities how to prevent from unemployment by means of the unfolding the key competences which are defined as knowledge, skills and habits in this work and they are determining for the successful self-assertion at the work market. Another task is to answer the question if this kind of the support of the women can be effective enough to increase their self-assertion at the work market. In the theoretical part there is apart from the problems of unemployment outlined the role of the key competences in increasing the employment. The main attention is focused on the group of the competences which are called the general skills (the competences independent on a certain subject). Among the most important competences belong communication, cooperation, solving problems, logical thought, the ability to lead, creativity, motivation and the ability to learn. The practical part is focused on the reporting the situation of the women coming back to the work market after the maternity leave in the Czech Republic, describes their needs and chances. The effectiveness of instruments of social policy for families with childern

My diploma thesis is aimed on charting the level of support and help provided for families with children in Czech republic and it's effectivness. Theoretical part contains legislative development with focus on social tools for families with children. Then I deal with institucional development when I outline advancement of particular forms of help. I describe evolution comprehension of family, part of children in society and systém development of help to mentioned groups.

Principles and Methods of social work with Social Groups in training housing regarding to Method of Sanation of Family in social Exclusion.

This Bachelor work is focused on principals and methods of social work in the higher type of asylum accommodation, which is called House of Training Accommodation. I want to introduce new model of social accommodation and social work for 21. century, with all social classes and groups. This new type of asylum accommodation is serving like an instrument of sanation of family and other pathological appearances in the society, for example unemployment, drug addiction and prevention of heavy crime, homeless and insufficient finantial situation for living, insolvency, rasial discrimination and defense of those clients who are in senior old age with pension income. This work will be focused on concrete objects of social work in the training house: with leaver of creches, applicants to senior homes, 5 clients coming from regime of serving a sentence (VTOS), single mothers with their children or women under domestic and elderly abuse and violence, ethnical minorities and famillies. At the end of this written bachelor work I wish to show compatibility of this type of social work with standards of quality of social work, especially with standards no. 3. and 5., which are the main pillars for the success of social work in the higher asylum accommodation. The introduction of the Standards for quality in social services into the home for the elderly in Kolešovice

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to examine development and process of introducing of the Standards for quality in social services. Social work has gone through complicated historical development and many transformations. I describe the most important changes at the very beginning of this thesis. This thesis includes a description of individual Standards. I also mention the system of internal and external quality inspection. In the practical part I point out the issues of the introduction of the Standards in the definite home for the elderly in The Central Bohemia Region. I looked into the relation and attitudes of employees to the introduction of the Standards within 3 a questionnaire survey. The involved employees were from homes for the elderly in the Usti Region. Disruption of the relationship between parents and children due to divorce and the standpoint of social work in these situations

Vedoucí práce Ivana Čihánková. Anotace Tato práce se věnuje rozvodové situaci a vtahům mezi rodiči a dětmi během rozvodu rodičů. V práci je popsáno jaké možnosti péče, tedy formální určení vztahů, jsou v České republice používány. Dále jak konflikt mezi rozvádějícími manželi může zasáhnout do vztahů s dětmi. Zabývá se jak nevhodnou komunikací, pomluvami, kritikou až tématem popouzení a programování dítěte proti druhému rodiči. Další část práce se věnuje tématu syndromu zavrženého rodiče, tedy následku programování, kdy dítě jednoho z rodičů více či méně odmítá, tedy zavrhuje. V poslední části se můžeme dočíst o možnostech a práci odboru sociálně právní ochrany dětí, a jakým způsobem pracují s dětmi z rozvádějících se rodin a jaké jsou zkušenosti pracovníků OSPOD s výše popsanými tématy. What is an afect?

In this paper, we will focus on the topic of affect in order to rehabilitate the concept of affect from the mainstream concept in the Czech literature. We introduce affect as an essential component of affective processes, the basic structural unit not only for emotions and moods, but also for emotional episodes, atitudes, passions, beliedfs, and sentiments.

Health as norm, illness as a "deviation". And how to inquire?

Human health is considered to be a “normal condition”(in contrast to illness). Our qualitative study is focused on asking questions about health or more precisely on analysis of individual interview guides. A total of 106 students (interviewers and researchers at the same time) developed an interview guide asking about health and carried out the interview with three participants. Their task was to reflect, evaluate and improve the quality of their guides after each interview. Thematic analysis utilised for data evaluation was focused on areas in the final versions of the guides. Several essential themes have emerged during categorization of interview guides questions. These themes were – according the students-researchers – most related to health: e.g. lifestyle, eating habits, risk behaviour, role of a doctor, diseases etc. This survey has also pointed to a number of hidden assumptions and beliefs, alleged connections and relations that researchers tended to see in the health theme and inject into the interview guides questions, but mainly to the fact that when asking about another person´s health, they especially wanted to know more about his/her diseases.
