The influence of the hat on the acoustic characteristics of the singing voice

This bachelor thesis deals with the objectification of acoustic changes in singing with the cover of the head. Shows the sound material used for the measurement, analyzes in detail the parts of the recording system and justifies used recording hardware. It also focuses on the subsequent digital processing of the audio signal. Subsequently, focuses on the selection of suitable acoustic characteristics in the spectral and time domains and explains how they are calculated. Based on these characteristics, it concludes that the hat influences the singer's tone in terms of volume, color and vigour.
A song as a message – Antonin Dvorak’s spiritual reference

The bachelor thesis focuses on Antonín Dvořák's songwriting. The aim of the work is to prove that in each cycle we find a spiritual reference. By introducing the interpretations of selected songs from the distinctive Dvořák cycles, we prove that their success lies not only in the wonderful composition and human aspect of his personality, but also in his sensitivity and sensitivity in the selection of texts. The theoretical basis of the work are the chapters that put Dvorak's song into context, characterize the personality of the author and the chosen cycles. Enclosed we present the music material of selected songs. The bachelor thesis contains an interview with Roman Janál, opera singer.

Abstract: The purpose of this bachelor ́s thesis is to describe the opera The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with an emphasis on the role of Papageno, its development and attributes. As an introduction into the theme of the work, we will acquaint ourselves with the opera as a musical form and ist historical development. Then i will focus on the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his other important works. Finally, i will focus on my own view of this role, drawing inspiration from my own experience interpreting it.
Giuseppe Verdi – Aida: the role of Amneris – a study of interpretation

The aim of this work is to familiarize the reader with the mezzosoprano role of Amneris from the opera Aida by Giuseppe Verdi. First it deals with the creation and the content of the opera in the context of the life of the composer. Then it focuses on the detailed characteristics of the role itself and comparison of two chapter analyses the duet of Aida and Amneris from the 2 . act and compares the approach of the stage direction of both of the above-mentioned productions. The work concludes with the opinions of the interpretation of this role by the current performers of Amneris.
Personality of Emmy Destinn, her life and career

First, the thesis discusses her life – starting with her childhood, over the first steps of her career till the end of her career of a singer. Further mentioned are her most important colleagues, who somehow influenced her life. The thesis examines her personality and voice. Finally, the thesis mentions her teachers.

Master thesis, The personality of Milada Šubrtová, focuses on the artistic and family life of the Czech opera singer. Firstly, it looks at her beginnings and her background. Then it describes Milada Šubrtová’s adolescence and her education. Professors who influenced Lady Šubrtová greatly. The thesis focuses on the beginning of her career, the first role in which she played. On the first engagement she ever received. On her successes and failures. The thesis describes how much she loved her husband and the two closest friends - Professor J. Mrázek and Professor Christina Kluge-Mrázková. You will have the opportunity to read about her engagement and the hosting in Czech theaters. In this thesis you can also read about her achievements, many great roles in her repertoire and about her personality. The thesis includes two interviews. The first one is an interview with PhDr. Christina Kluge-Mrázková who knew Mrs. Milada Šubrtová personally and who was her close friend. The second one is an interview with Ing. Petrlík, the mayor of a village Chříč. Thanks to his initiative, there was established a museum of Milada Šubrtová in this village after her death. At the conclusion of my thesis I have made an analysis of the questionnaire regarding "Personality of Milada Šubrtová" which I created in order to know how many respondents know this great opera singer.
Music therapy. Music as the medicine for our spirit

This work introduces to readers a field of music therapy. At first point it's dealing with the begining and need of music sense as well as historic development. In addition to this it's focused on music therapy as a field of science and organisation structure in the Czech republic and abroad. Opinions of classical and alternative experts are compared. Music treatment is described in detail in particular branches of psychosomatics. In conclusion, the work points to positive and negative ways of music influence.

This Bachelors Thesis The Lamentations of Prophet Jeremiah for Basse from Jan Dismas Zelenka processes an elaborate interpretative analysis of chosen audio recordings. It is concerning at searching differences as well as common characterics of these interpretations and consider its´reasons.This study is supplemented by information about recording factors and Zelenkas´ opus formation circumstances.Thesis mediates an insight into the life of Jan Dismas Zelenka and a historical context as well.It shall bring not only a complex material for deeper understanding to the Lamentations and the composer Zelenka, but also an inspiration and reflection about general principles of interpretation - vocal as well as musical.
