The Kolín Cantional from 1517 and songs of the Bohemian Brethren in the early sixteenth century
Baťová, Eliška ; Maňas, Vladimír (referee)
Mgr. Eliška Baťová, dipl. um. The Kolín Cantional from 1517 and Songs of the Bohemian Brethren n the Early Sixteenth Century This thesis is revised version of my diploma paper. It deals with the Czech cantional hold in Kolín, The Regional Museum, and its contribution to hymnology. Both the complete external description of the source and the analysis of its contents is made. It looks mainly into the liturgical use of the repertory and its historical and confessional context. In detail there are treated its relations to the repertory of the Bohemian Brethren with regard to the tune, lyrics and liturgy. The result of this paper is the new evaluation of this manuscript and its signification to the musical and ecclesiastical history. It also brings important pieces of knowledge about the new form of the Bohemian reformational music of the Jagellonian period. Keywords: Kolín cantional, hymnology, hymn, liturgy, Utraquism, Bohemian Brethen
The organization of judiciary in Austria in the second half of the 19th century
Šalak, Boris ; Kindl, Vladimír (referee)
The organization of judiciary in Austria in the second half of the 19th century The main aim of this thesis is a description of the organization of the judiciary in Austria (Cisleithania) in the second half of the 19th century and its position in the broader European context. The revolution of 1848 dramatically affected the organization of the judiciary. In 1850 in some territories of the monarchy a new system of ordinary courts was activated which replaced the old system of pre-March. The new system was fully put under state control and separated from the administration at all levels. Despite the fact that this new structure was notably changed in the next half-century, the basic principles of the organization (with certain exception of the years 1855 to 1867) have not changed much. Other milestones in the development are the years 1854/1855 (the so-called Bach reorganization of the judiciary), the years 1867/1868 (the adoption of the December Constitution and application of certain principles contained therein), the years 1873/1874 (the adoption of the new Criminal Procedure Code and the beginning of its efficiency) and finally the years 1895-1898, when the reform of civil procedure and judicial organization took place. Austrian judicial system in the form it had assumed at the beginning of the last...
Chromatographic characterization of polyaniline-coated stationary phases
Taraba, Lukáš
(EN) This dissertation thesis is focused on physicochemical and chromatographic characterization of polyaniline-coated stationary phases. In the first part, surfaces of bare silica and octadecyl silica sorbents were modified by in-situ chemical polymerization of aniline hydrochloride and their subsequent systematic characterization was performed by using the linear solvation energy relationship approach in the HILIC mode of capillary LC. In addition, several common physicochemical techniques were used to characterize properties of these altered materials. The modified sorbents were then packed into capillary columns. The retention interactions taking place between solute and the separation system were evaluated on the basis of retention data of a number of various solutes. The results showed that polyaniline coating had a significant effect on the retention promoting interactions of both polyaniline-coated stationary phases. The assumed mixed-mode retention mechanism was proven for both the stationary phases. The second part dealt with investigation of the separation potential of polyaniline- coated silica stationary phase in different chromatographic modes. The retention factor curves of structurally similar solutes were constructed as a function of organic modifier portion in the mobile phase....
Intentionally organized motoric activities in coping with primary school curriculum
Piskáčková, Petra
This thesis deals with one of the current educational trends, which is the effort to make pupils more active in the educational process and the related use of intentionally organised motion activities during the school instruction. Inclusion of various motion activities has been recently increasing, particularly in the first grade of elementary schools. Therefore, this thesis maps incentives and intents for the inclusion of motion activities in the education and compares the role of such activities organised as a component of the instruction prior to the year 1989 with their role in a contemporary school. Also submitted is the summary of approaches to motion activities in currently used as well as prepared educational programmes. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Effect of the subchronic and early-life permethrin exposures on rat liver: oxidative stress and endogenous antioxidant responses
Palan, Matyáš ; Zemanová, Lucie (advisor) ; Dršata, Jaroslav (referee)
Charles University in Prague University of Camerino Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Faculty of Pharmacy Department of Biochemical Sciences Department of Molecular Biology Candidate: Matyáš Palan Supervisor: Associate Prof. of Biochemistry Rosita Gabbianelli, Ph.D. RNDr. Lucie Škarydová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Effect of the subchronic and early-life permethrin exposures on rat liver: oxidative stress and endogenous antioxidant responses Permethrin is a widely used insecticide with a low acute toxicity to mammals; however, there are concerns about consequences of a long term and an early life exposure to this compound. Two different animal models were chosen in order to study effects of permethrin on liver. In the model of subchronic treatment, adolescent rats treated for 60 days with permethrin (150 mg/kg body weight/day) were used and sacrificed immediately after the treatment. As far as the model of early life is concerned, the treatment with permethrin (34.05 mg/kg body weight/day) lasted for 15 consecutive days in early life and sacrifice took place after the interval of 300 days since the beginning of the treatment. To evaluate the impact of permethrin treatment on liver tissue, markers of oxidative stress (lipid peroxidation, content of carbonyl groups), amount of superoxide...

Significance of Psycho-spiritual Care in the Old Age Period. Stimulating the Development of the Elderly in the Field of Special Needs Education
Jičínská, Jana
The Dissertation deals with the issue of the senior age and tries to point out some basic approaches in understanding this very heterogeneous and diversified group, the emphasis is put on the mutual balance between special pedagogical approaches and theological and pastoral impulses. This connection, however, requires searching a common dialogue among sciences and allows finding a quality base for understanding seniors in their integrated story of life and thus promoting a quality but also effective care following the findings of the humanities, medicine and social sciences. The method chosen requires a multidisciplinary approach and education that goes beyond the boundaries delimitating particular disciplines. The source used here is the qualitative research, which was focused on a wide area of the life quality of older people, and which also reflected spiritual issues. In view of the method chosen, the text is embedded in the testimonies of the clients, thereby gaining diversity, authenticity and practical demonstrations of stories, experience and issues. The Dissertation is divided into five chapters that progressively follow the individual thematic areas. It is based on theoretical and practical approaches, all of which are connected with a broader framework of findings gained from the field...
Games as an activating method in primary schools
Jandová, Petra
My Degree Work deals with activation methods in a primary school. The goal of the dissertation is to find out the instruction potential of games. The work monitores at the same time whether a game, as a teaching method, can contribute to forming a positive climate of a class. In the theoretical part there is collected knowledge of pedagogical literature concerning an influence of a game, as a method , on an educational process, activation of pupils and climate of a class. In the practical part there is verified an instructive potential of games and their positive influence on evolution of a class climate in a form of an action research. Evolution in Editions of Early czech Organ Music - Professional Exegesis and Propedeutics
Thon, Tomáš
The thesis focuses on the development of editorial activity of organ works in the period of so called the early Czech organ music. This issue presents the extension of composer's works of the baroque and classical style in correlation with instrumental models of period organs in their technical and artistic sounds and links for which they were written. The author's scope covers publishing relations to known and anonymous published works beginning with Bohuslav Matěj Černohorský to the period of Jan Křtitel Vaňhal, i.e. composers who worked in the territory of the historic Czech lands, or were born in them. In the thesis the process of publishing editions is analyzed by their semantic shifts or divergence from the assumed author's original writing or period copies.
