The winter wheat growing in terms of selected agricultural company
ŽÁČEK, Josef
This bachelor's thesis deals with the comparsion of three variations of growing winter wheat in practical conditions of a chosen agricultural business. A pilot plant experiment was established in 2015 on the property in cadarstral office Dolní Svince 0802/2 of the total area of 12 ha. For the experiment as such the area of 6 ha was used, which was then divided into three parts, each of the area of 2 ha. During the vegetation period, the presence of weeds was monitored and the yield elements of the individual phases of winter wheat evaluated. After the harvest, the real yield of the grain was evaluated and the final economical appraisal was performed. The average yield of the grain of the first variation (treated by herbicides, fertilized by nitrogen) reached the total of 5,54 t.ha-1 which was a 1,56 t.ha-1 more than the second variation (not treated by herbicides, fertilized by nitrogen). The yield of the second variation was 3,98 t.ha-1. The last established was the third variation (not treated by herbicides, not fertilized by nitrogen) and its yield of the harvested grain was around 2,73 t.ha-1.
The influence of nitrogen fertilization on malting quality of spring barley
PECA, Tomáš
The bachelor's thesis presents the results of an experiment with spring barley. The experiment was established in 2016 in the business of Bc. Jiří Nepovím in Opatovice, region of Světlá nad Sázavou. The experimental cultivar of spring barley was Laudis 550. The subject matter of the experiment was intensificated dosage of nitrogen and its effect on yield and qualitative elements. The experimental dosages of nitrogen were set on 60 kg.ha-1, 90 kg.ha-1 and 120 kg.ha-1. Once the dosage was increased by 30 kg.ha-1, the content of nitrogen substances in the grain increased of 0,9 % and proved to be by 0,5 t.ha-1 higher in the total yield
The application of marketing in a certain Czech company
ZÁRUBA, Filip
This Bachelor thesis focuses on the application of marketing in a co-operative company, Jednota České Budějovice. The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to determine, whether the company uses any marketing tools and to potentially propose new methods in an effort to optimize their marketing. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to a summary of theoretical concepts applicable to this practical example. These concepts are subsequently put into practice in the second part of the thesis. In this part is shown, how the selected company implements marketing. Data the practical part was obtained from interviews with employees of the co-operative company, Jednota České Budějovice. Finally, based on that, changes in how the company's marketing is done are put forward.
Effect of different descaling/skin removing methods on sensory properties and shelf life of common carp
VÁGNER, Martin
The present bachelor thesis studied microbiological quality, sensory attributes and customer preferences of common carp filet (Cyprinus carpio) descaled by different methods under two storage conditions. Fillets were processed by four descaling methods, namely: without skin, without scales, undercut scales and fillets of mirror carp (with skin). Moreover two types of storage conditions, air packed and vacuum packaged, were tested at 3.8 +- 0.5 ° C. Microbiological analyses were determined by total viable counts in logarithm of colony-forming units per gram (log CFU.g) on storage days 0, 3, 6 and 9. Furthermore, sensory analyses of fillets was classified and customer preferences were evaluated by using an anonymous questionnaire. In microbiological analyses, an increase of the total number of microorganisms with increasing storage time was observed. Microbial communities grew to between 2.3 - 2.69 log CFU.g-1 on the first day of fish processing (day 0) and 6.35 - 8.28 log CFU.g-1 on the last day of storage (day 9). Microbiological analysis showed that skinless fillets reached the lowest total number of microorganisms, regardless the type of packaging (air / vacuum packaged). Also sensory analyses showed that consistency and odour of carp fillets were influenced by packaging conditions as well as descaling methods. The best results in sensory evaluation achieved fillets without skin and undercut scales. The survey on consumer preferences of carp found out that 58.9 % of customers preferred scaly carp with undercut scales and processed to fillets. The results of present study show that different types of descaling methods combined with air / vacuum packaging can significantly prolong the shelf life of carp fillets.
Motivation System and Care of Employees in Selected Enterprise
PLACHÁ, Denisa
The goal of this thesis is to describe and evaluate motivation system and care of employees in selected enterprise ČEVAK a.s. It is focused on basic terms of motivation and care of employees and on theories of work motivation. In the second part it presents enterprise ČEVAK a.s. where the research is performed. The thesis presents thorough description of motivation in the enterprise. It also compares this system to some theory of motivation. The results of questionnaire survey which are acquired from employees are presented in a form of graphical outputs. Research and comparison of all acquired information are processed into my own suggestion on improving of the motivation system and care of employees.
Spatial analysis of distribution of giant hogweed (\kur{Heracleum mantegazzianum}) in selected area of Karlovarsko region
OREL, Jakub
Based on its size giant hogweed belongs to the group of the biggest European herbs. It is non-indigenous plant species which can be originally found in the Western Caucasus. Successful introduction of hogweed has occurred not only in the Czech Republic and currently its invasive growth poses a threat to the variability of native ecosystems. Moreover liquidation of the plant comprises considerable financial losses. The most affected area of the Czech Republic is the region of Karlovarsko. In my bachelor 's thesis I am dealing with spatial analysis of distribution of giant hogweed depending on sea level and landscape cover in selected area of Karlovarsko region. Spatial analysis in geographic information system in combination with knowledge on species ecology might represent effective tool for management of both giant hogweed and other invasive plants.
Voluntary simplicity related to veganism
KYSELOVÁ, Jitka
The bachelor thesis presents two lifestyles/philosophies - voluntary simplicity and veganism. The aim of the research part was to find out whether people, who consider themselves vegans and agree with vegan philosophy, know the term of voluntary simplicity and whether their lifestyle is in accordance with the selected characteristics of this concept. A survey had been conducted and the results showed that one third of the vegans is familiar with the term of voluntary simplicity. However, most of the vegans are aware of its characteristics (values and attitudes). In addition, a majority of vegans find their lifestyle more modest in comparison with other people. Two thirds of vegans act pro-environmentally in their everyday life. Also, vegans are frequently involved in voluntary organizations and they often take disadvantaged groups into consideration.
Hluková analýza v chovu dojnic ve vybraném podniku
DOBROVOLNÝ, Tomáš
In this bachelor thesis, especially in the theoretical part I focus on the construction of stalls and the technologies used in the dairy cows breeding. The next solved topic is welfare so as the last theme is the noise and its sources in the animal husbandries. The practical is focused on the description of the monitored stall unit. The noise level LpA measurement was done under the cattle load with the technological operations by the chosen dairy cows were observed in the workplaces of the agricultural cooperative in Velká Losenice. The results of measurements and comparisons in the chosen objects are introduced in the conclusion of this bachelor thesis.
