Vapour-liquid equilibria of binary mixtures; an analysis and design of an advanced measuring method of pTx behavior
Klomfar, Jaroslav ; Pátek, Jaroslav
Methods used for measuring of pTx data of binary mixtures in vapour-liquid equilibrium were critically evaluated including their specific sources of experimental uncertainties. The analysis was used as a basis for design of a measuring method making use of the advantages of recent measuring technique and limiting thus as most as possible experimental uncertainties that stems from the adjustment and measurement of the temperature, pressure and sample composition.
Metoda rozložení oblasti FETI ve statickém kontaktu
Pták, Svatopluk ; Dobiáš, Jiří ; Dostál, Z. ; Vondrák, V.
Feti method is based on decomposition of the spatial solution domain into non- overlaping sub-domains that are held together by the Lagrange multipliers. After eliminating the primal variables the original problem is transformed to a small, relatively well conditioned quadratic programming problem in the dual variables.
Kolísání napětí dodávaného větrnými turbínami s asynchronními generátory a s dvojitě napájenými stroji
Chomát, Miroslav ; Schreier, Luděk ; Bendl, Jiří
The impact of wind turbines and wind farms on the power grid is becoming increasingly important and much attention has recently been paid to the issues associated with operation of wind turbines in power systems. One of the most important power quality problems caused by wind power plants are large fluctuations of generated power due to varying wind speed and due to the construction of the wind turbine itself
Identifikace vírových struktur z experimentálních dat
Šonský, Jiří ; Něnička, Václav ; Jágerská, J.
For identification of vortex structures of a heat flow in a free burning plasma jet a new method is used, which utilize fast imaging methods and computerized image processing. This method allows us to observe genesis of vortexes of a heat flow in a plasma jet, including the changes when a wall barrier is inserted in the jet. These two regimes are typical for behaviour of a plasma jet in technological applications. By varying the flow rate of working gas (argon, 15slm to 150 slm) there appear considerable changes both in time and spatial distribution of vortex fields in the two above regimes
Sdružená přímovazební a zpětnovazební řídicí strategie paralelního hybridního filtru pro potlačení harmonických
Škramlík, Jiří ; Valouch, Viktor
The strategy features a small sensivity against a disturbed supply voltage system and enables us to set grid phase currents in the phase with respective voltages. The experimental data show that the modified control strategy yields better results than those obtained by using control systems reported previously, especially in case of an unsymmetrical and non-sinusoidal voltage system and the demand of zero reactive power withdrawn from the grid
Some Aspects of Matrix Converter System Realization
Lettl, Jiří ; Flígl, S.
Matrix converters, initially called direct frequency changers in general only, have attracted an amount of interest over the past twenty-five years already, but with the rapid progress in the semiconductor devices and control circuits they find once again new utilisation. The presented paper deals with the recent concept of hybrid and power splitting traction drive systems.
Noise, Vibration and Electromagnetic eFFects Generated by Semiconductor Converters in Traction Vehicles
Budek, P. ; Chmelíček, M. ; Jehlička, Vladimír
New problems emerge in the vehicles of city mass transportation due to application of new power switching devices and their control circuitry. Measurements were performed in a low-floor trolleybus ŠKODA 21Tr equipped with power converters based on GTOs and IGBTs. They were aimed at finding the sources of noise and vibrations in the passenger space, at verifying their influence and finding methods for their limitation. Similarly, The same attention was paid to the problems of electromagnetic interference.
Control Strategy of Parallel Hybrid Filter for Harmonic Mitigation
Škramlík, Jiří ; Valouch, Viktor
The strategy features a small sensitivity against a disturbed supply voltage system and enables us to set grid phase currents in the phase with respective voltages. The expected properties of the PHF control system have been confirmed by experimental tests in the laboratory. The data show that the modified control strategy yields better results than those obtained by using control systems reported previously, especially in case of an unsymmetrical and non-sinusoidal voltage system and the demand of zero reactive power withdrawn from the grid.
Short-Circuit Protection of IGCT Voltage Source Inverters through the Use of Semiconductor Fuses
Bartoš, Stanislav ; Semerád, Radko ; Škramlík, Jiří
The power switching devices IGCT exhibit high values of the parameter I2t. This property enables their short-circuit protection by the so called semiconductor fuses. For both the thyristors and the rapid semiconductor fuses, the parameter I2t is usually defined for a half-sine current wave with the duration of 10 ms. However, in the dc feeding line of an inverter, the short-circuit waveforms are strongly different, and the best way to find the proper fuse for protection is to employ appropriate computer software.
