Foreign direct investment in Russian Federation

Foreign direct investment is a widespread practice in the world way of obtaining funding sources for the development of national economy and solving social problems. Attracting foreign investment is becoming one of the priorities of the governments of many countries, including Russia. The Russian market has enormous potential, and for European companies which are facing with the problem of saturation of national markets, the development of relations with Russia is a great opportunity to expand the scale and competitiveness. I decided, that in my thesis I will deal with foreign direct investment in the Russian Federation, in particular their effects and role for Russia's economy, the dynamics of the acquisition, allocation of investments by economic sectors and regions of Russia, Russian government policy in regulating and attracting investment, investment projects of Czech Republic within the Russian Federation and the forecast of investment by the authorities and funding agencies.
