RNDr. Lubomír Hanel, CSc. The aim of the diploma thesis is to create the unit plan, which is mainly intended for students in 5 th grades of Czech primary schools. Educational programs have been created for conditions in terms of the analysis of the topic of Water in the landscape. The practical outcome of this work is the development of two educational programs - Life in wetlands and Waterworld (methodology for teachers). Furthermore, there are worksheets which were used in the context of the pretest, posttest-1 and posttest - 2 to evaluate effectiveness of proposed programs. Educational programs were practically tested in a selected group of 5th grade students at primary school. Key words: water, landscape, educational program, worksheets
