Title of the thesis Burnout Syndrome and Depressive Symptomatology Among Sport Coaches and Trainers in the Czech Republic (2020) Thesis aim The aim of this dissertation is to determine the metrics of total burnout and its subdimensions using the standardized questionnaire method SMBM with the simultaneous determination of the score of depressive symptoms using the questionnaire scale BDI-II. Methods The dissertation is a non-experimental empirical descriptive study with a questionnaire survey. Data collection took place in November 2020. A total of 1151 questionnaires were obtained. Questionnaires from 1083 respondents were relevant. They created the primary sample. "Professional" trainers who are financially rewarded for the profession were selected for a subset of 776 respondents. A demographic questionnaire on the basic data of the respondents, a lifestyle questionnaire, the Shirom - Melamed burnout scale (SMBM) and the Beck depressive symptomatology scale (BDI-II) were used to collect data. IBM SPSS 27 statistical software was used for data processing.
