Development of children with autism spectrum disorders with the help of Son-Rice method

This Master's thesis deals with development of children with autism spectrum disorder with the help of the Son-Rise method.The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on general development of children, also summarises primary features of children with autism spectrum disorder and describes Son-Rise program and few other applicable methods.The practical part is based on interviews and observations that show to what extent is the Son-Rise program able to influence the development of children pre-eminently in area of their social skills. Based on the gained results, the practical part also notes that addition of other methods and procedures to the Son-Rise program can contribute to improvement and faster development process.
