Eliška Voříšková Abstract The task of this study is to translate the selected chapters of the title Sefarad: los judíos de España, María Antonia Bel Bravo from the spanish language system to the czech one with respect to the target recipient and stylistic tradition.The commentary, that will form the second part of this study, will include the analysis of the original text,the description of difficult moments that appeared in the translation and the arguments that led to the decision of the final alternative.
