Nietzsche and His Explication by Postmodern Philosophers
Chaloupková, Marie ; Pelcová, Naděžda (referee) ; Blažková, Miloslava (advisor)
In the first chapter three differing interpretations of Nietzschean philosophy are discussed, which show the importance of the role of the reader and the reader's life view and life experience in their interpretation. On the basis of these interpretations, the variety of Nietzschean motives is considered. Each of the motives are conceived individually and used in post-modern approaches. I have considered such themes as the critical view on the knowability of Truth, the critique of the metaphysical and dialectical, the critique of morality and of Christianity, the question of the death of God, also the concept of revaluation of values, Will to Power and the concept of Superman. In the second chapter, I characterised post-modern philosophy. I considered the way different post-modern philosophers have interpreted the questions that Nietzsche posed. I approached some of the ideas of Lyotard, Derrida, Vattimo, Deleuze and Guattari and Foucault. I succeeded in pointing out the fundamental areas of interest of these post-modern philosophers in which we can find common ground with Nietzsche. I spoke about the critical view of the language, shifting away from the school of modernist thought, Lyotard's meta-stories, Will to Power and not least about the plurality of perception and their concurrence.
