This bachelor thesis deals with both hardware and software innovation of “Girders” model which is a part of the subject Programmable automation controllers. The first part describes theory regarding PLC together with its programming languages and the design of a model connection scheme. The second part introduces an example consisting of pattern protocol, programs written in LAD and SCL and its visualization.
ABB RobotStudio - sample control program for stationary robot
Machala, Jan ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create sample control program executing sequence of robot movements and then its implementation on real robot IRB 120. For communication between robot and PLC was used program created in integrated development environment Microsoft Visual Studio. In the introduction are briefly described history of robotics and categories of robots. In the following chapters are described company ABB Group, its products and company B&R Automation and its products focused on control systems. Next chapters describe the solution of the given laboratory task and briefly explain settings of the individual programs. The thesis attachment contains video of the working project tested on real robot.

Control system for dosing of chemicals in the chemical treatmentf water plant
Kolman, Aleš ; Weber, Martin (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to make a new, modern control systém for Chemical treatment of water plant in Kolín. The reason is to reduce operating costs and improve the quality of treated water. This work includes design of hardware conception, program for PLC and HMI displays interface. Another part is the design visualization of process. The new control system will be based on PLC FOXTROT by Teco company and another extension modules A PLC program will be written in structured text (ST) and debugged in a development environment MOSAIC from Teco company. Operators of CHUV will have operator control panel and a separate PC that contains the visualization of process of water treatment created in the RELIANCE 4.
