Thermoelectric generators and their use with renewable energy sources
Bajgl, Tomáš ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
This work revolves around the principle of thermoenergy transforming into electrical energy by using a thermoelectrical generator. It is divided into these sections – theoretical, practical and experimental measurement. In the theoretical section, each thermoelectrical phenomenon is described, the properties of various materials used for production are listed, including their electrical properties and constructions. Then the attention switches to the currently available systems. The practical section includes a design for a device, which purpose is to recharge a mobile phone by using thermoelectric generators, and that section is followed by the elaboration of the measured values.
Alternative Energy Resources for Family House
Buráň, Petr ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Špiláček, Michal (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis we will focus on alternative energy resources for family house. The thesis consists of two main chapters. The first chapter is focused on research, in which we will sequentially introduce different resource of energy and describe their principle of operation. In the second chapter we will create proposal designs for different energy resources for family house and their price comparisons.
Thermoelectric Generator
Štetina, Jakub ; Ančík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This thesis describes measuring of thermoelectric modules and building of the device, which would serve as an emergency electric energy source for specific purpose on the basis of ther-moelectric effects. We use thermoelectric generators (TEG).
AC/DC adjustable power converter 5 - 30 V / 30 A
Matýsek, Michal ; Brančík, Lubomír (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the switched mode power supplies, their possible solutions and consequently with design of a power source with given parameters. The theoretical part analyses behaviour of the switched mode power supplies. Further it contains a survey of wiring of AC/DC converters and their properties. In the framework of the practical part was developer the power AC/DC switching power supply with adjustable output voltage from 5 to 30 V and 30 A current. The source was designed as a half-bridge decreasing converter with a transformer.
