Thesis deals with the design of the technological process of anodic oxidation (creating elox coating) on aluminium film in the system steel-aluminium-elox, with the findings of characteristics of this system, comparing with the contemporary knowledge and practical utilization of this system in practice. My thesis in the teoretical part describes creating of anodic oxidation (elox coating) and the process of bending and stretching the sheet. Theoretical aspects of interaction among elox finish, process of bendings and process of stretching are implemented in the experimental part and they are supported by identified knowledge and results. The practical part is focused on improving adhesion, designing and constructing a multifunctional bending product for testing resistance of the finish applied on a tested product. Under the terms of determination distributing deformation and tension in bended coated plate, this plate is tested by statistic analysis with the help of the Finit Element Method (FEM) in the programme ANSYS. The experimental part compares discovered results of each experiment in the system steel – aluminium – elox with the results of aluminium plates with elox finish, stainless plates and steel plates with aluzinc.

Development of new chemically resistant coating system containing secondary raw materials
Stodolovská, Šárka ; Jakubík, Aleš (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
New types of highly chemically resistant coating systems, primarily designed for concrete and metal substrates are designed and experimentally verified within the diploma thesis. Secondary raw materials, including solidified hazardous waste, are used as microfillers. The developed coating system is solved in two quality levels – PREMIUM and ECOLOGY. The level of PREMIUM is mainly designed for environments where extreme chemical stress is occurring. The polymer coating systém ECOLOGY can be used in environments where aggressive chemical media also act, however the ecological foot of the input raw materials is most important. The diploma thesis is dealing with current issues in the practice and it is the part of the research project.
Vliv reologických vlastností nátěrových hmot na transparetní povrchové úpravy
Karadinović, Ana
The master thesis deals with the influence of the rheological properties of coating materials on the surface finishing properties. The main rheological properties which were analyzed are viscosity and flow time of the coatings. Water-based, wax and polyurethane coatings were used. The aim was to determine the effect of temperature and dilution of the coatings on their rheological properties. Used coatings were prepared with different properties and applied on different substrates. Laboratory tests of physical-mechanical, chemical and visual properties were carried out. The influence of the rheological properties of the coatings on the properties of the surface finishing was analyzed based on the results of the laboratory tests.
Bicycle suspension test stations
Volánka, Lukáš ; Růžička, Bronislav (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This work deals with the design of a bicycle suspension testing station. Currently, new suspension technologies are still being developed, especially for mountain bikes, which are intended for very rough terrain. For this development of new technologies, it is necessary to have a suitable station that enables experimental verification of driving characteristics, ideally in laboratory conditions. The key features that can be evaluated in a bike are riding comfort and grip. The designed station uses a cylindrical road simulator placed under the tested suspension (wheel). Speed bumps are placed on the cylinder of the simulator, which excite vibrations in the bike when passed over, which simulates driving on a bumpy road. At the station, it is possible to evaluate the properties of the front and rear suspension, while the bicycle is always clamped to the station by the axis of the untested suspension. During the tests, the riders weight is replaced by additional weights placed on a rack that connects the seat and head tube of the bike. The additional weights can be moved to imitate different positions of the cyclist while riding. A virtual dynamic model was created for the test station, which makes the experiments much more efficient. The simulation model was designed and tested in MSC Adams software. The test station together with the virtual model forms a simple tool that enables quick and efficient testing of the quality of bicycle suspension.
Design, production and characterization of the adhesive layer for the deposition of ta-C coating by the magnetron sputtering method
Drásalová, Kateřina ; Juliš, Martin (referee) ; Klakurková, Lenka (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is improving the adhesion parameters of the DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating, specifically for its non-hydrogenated form ta-C (tetra amorphous carbon), for the deposition of ta-C coating by the magnetron sputtering with a central rotating cathode method. A possible solution is the creation of a chrome adhesive layer between this coating and the substrate. Effects of the adhesive layer on the coating are controlled by change settings of a process parameters as temperature, voltage, or time of deposition. The aim of the experiment was the production of such an adhesive layer that will increase the adhesion of the ta-C coating without worsening its other properties. The resulting properties of the deposited coating were analysed using a calotest for thickness measuring, Rockwell test and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to assess adhesion and cohesion parameters, instrumented penetration tests to determine hardness and bent-strip method to calculate internal stress. By evaluating the prepared samples, depending on the resulting useful properties of the coating, the best deposition parameters were determined.

Pevnost lepeného spoje ve smyku materiálů na bázi dřeva v extrémních podmínkách
Hromádka, Petr
This thesis deals with the issue of adhesive joints under extreme conditions. The aim of this work is to determine influence of temperatures -30 °C, +23°C, +70 °C on maximal tensile strength of adhesive joint and to determine which adhesive has the best results when used on specific agglomerated materials. Manufactured samples (chipboard, chipboard press-veneered by spruce, fibreboard, beech plywood board) were used in process of solving the task. These samples were used in accordance with standard ČSN EN 205. Data were processed by software and evaluation was accomplished by using statistical methods. As a result of a detailed research the adhesives appropriate for use in extreme conditions on Earth were determined. Contribution of this work is clarification of the impact of exposure temperature, type of adhesive and interaction between temperature of exposure and type of adhesive. Based on obtained results appropriate type of adhesive for given temperature during maximal tensile stress can be recommended.
Tensional Properties of Sealants in Cement-Based Material Sealing
Boháček, Adam ; Brandtner, Michal
The article deals with sealing of cement-based materials and tensile properties of the sealed joint. Aquapanel cement board was chosen as the base material, which was treated with a primer. Then two sealants were applied, one representative of acrylic and one of polyurethane sealants. After curing, the resulting test specimens were tested according to the valid European standard ČSN EN ISO 8340, which defines the parameters of the test specimen and subsequent test procedures. The evaluation of the test, which took place visually and with a caliper measurement, showed that only polyurethane sealant could be recommended for sealing Aquapanel. This putty, unlike acrylic putty, did not show any defects after the test, so it can be stated as suitable for sealing Aquapanel cement board.
