Uninterruptible Supply of the Hospital Information System
Kučera, Josef ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Fedra, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the proposal for an appropriate source of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to the school server UBMI where is currently installed HIS (hospital information system) CLINICOM Corporate SMS. UPS should have ensure the protection of data being unfinished, secure off site and to inform the line voltage failure.
Automatic Antenna Tuner
Šváb, Jaroslav ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This degree work deals with the design and implementation of an automatic antenna tuner for short-wave transmitters. The device works within the short-wave range in (1.5 MHz - 30 MHz) band according to the selection of the given frequency. Its principle is that the tuner has a small range of adapted impedances, but it is usually sufficient for fine tuning of most deviations in the system of antenna 50 - feeder 50 - transceiver outlet 50 . It is also equipped with memories which the settings for the individual bands or frequency segments are stored into. Then the transition from one band to another is quick, easy and, first of all, safe, which is a great advantage. In automatic mode, a SWR limit from which the tuner should start to tune can be set. Interconnection with a TRX is not necessary in a fully automatic mode, the device tunes automatically after keying if the set limit of SWR has been exceeded. The automatic tuning is very quick with this device, if the antenna being tuned is not stored in the memory the tuning lasts ca 0.5 - 6 s, if the tuner uses the memory. It could be said that the work with the tuner is without problems, it is possible to learn to control it in a short time. The tuner is small and light. The result of the whole project is a compact device controlled by the user by means of push buttons.
Resonant and quasi-resonant converters
Krška, Vlastimil ; Sedláček, Jiří (referee) ; Murina, Milan (advisor)
Project is engaged in concept and realization of quasi – resonant converter with switching in minimum voltage which derive benefit from resonance capacitor and inductor. It is one of the possibilities how to increase efficiency of switch – mode power supply. While using resonant converters the losses are reduced, when the resonant inductor will connect and disconnect at zero current in inductor, or at zero voltage on inductor. Base of the power supply is chip NCP1337. Concept comes from detailed analysis functions of integrated curcuit and others curcuits of switch – mode power supply. Project includes a complete concept of all partial curcuits, description of a construction and the main parameters measured on the realized sample.

Current distribution on linear antennas
Novák, Tomáš ; Bártík, Hynek (referee) ; Nováček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work will describe current distribution measurement problems along antenna conductor using a probe (coupling loop), which is attached to selective micro-voltmeter, which will indicate signal level (voltage). The signal level will be used for representing the current distribution. Subsequently, measuring workplace issues from generator to antenna conductor, probe and selective micro-voltmeter, will be discussed. Analysis of voltages of this link-up and additional study will be conducted. Other parameters, which complement this situation, will be calculated from the current distribution. A computer program, which calculates these parameters and speeds up the collected data processing, will be used for this process.
