Environmental aspects heating
Vypušťáková, Veronika ; Poláčik, Ján (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor´s thesis is ecological impacts of heating. The first part contains information on selected pollutants that adversely affect the environment and human health. The second part is devoted to the comparison of pollutants in boilers for solid, liquid and gaseous fuels. The last third part focuses on proposals for measures to eliminate undesirable effects of pollutants.
Burners for liquid and gaseous fuels
Zaidullina, Liliia ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the burners for liquid and gaseous fuels, primarily on the ones that are used in industrial technological equipment. This is a detailed research of available sources including publications and websites in order to describe the classification and construction of burners and their operation and also standards that must be observed. Three main objectives were defined for the paper. The first one is to describe the different types of burners, the basic construction concept of the burners on liquid and gaseous fuels. Usually, the construction of the burner depends on technological conditions of their application. The second objective is to describe the legal standards and basic parameters of the burners. These standards are applicable to industrial burners for gaseous and liquid fuels, which burn with mixture air and fuel. The standards cannot be applied to the burners, in which the additives such as electric or acoustic energy and oxygen. The third objective is to describe the method of offering and calculating burners.

Gasification of Coal and Purification of Gas
Svoboda, Karel
The overview lecture brings information about technologies of coal gasification(moving bed, fluidized bed, entrained flow), about producer gas composition, concentrations of impurities and about possibilities of gas cleaning for various applications: IGCC for power generation, energy, production of liquid fuels, hydrogen production and fueling of particularly high temperature fuel cells.
