Title: Critical parts in solving constructive tasks by pupils-refugees from Ukraine Author: Bc. Anna Kukhtenko Supervisor: Mgr. Michal Zamboj, Ph.D. Abstract: Construction problems are considered to be one of the most difficult problems in mathematics education, as they are the connection of the space of geometric objects and relations (theoretical) with the space of pro-spatial graphical entities (representational). For pupil refugees from Ukraine, who have gone through the traumatic experience of emigration and adjusting to a new environment, these tasks may present additional specific challenges. The thesis analyses Czech and Ukrainian textbooks, examines differences in procedures and solution methods, individual experience and readiness of pupil-applicants going to Czech schools. The methodology is based on qualitative research, which includes working with a group of pupils from Ukraine with a worksheet and interviews with the pupils themselves to better evaluate the results. Based on these findings, appropriate pedagogical strategies and approaches can be further designed and refined to better support the success and adaptation of these pupils in the school environment. Beneficial utilisation of GeoGebra software in geometric constructions at the lower secondary level of basic school

Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím programu GeoGebra ve výuce ma- tematiky, konkrétně v tématu konstrukce trojúhelník·. Cílem práce bylo na- vrhnout přípravu na hodiny výuky konstrukce trojúhelník· s využitím pro- gramu GeoGebra a následně ověřit, zda využití softwaru dynamické geometrie mělo vliv na zvládnutí nového učiva. Teoretická část obsahuje použité pojmy z planimetrie. V dalších dvou kapitolách se čtenář seznámí s programem GeoGebra a GeoTest a některými výzkumy, které jsou zaměřené na použití program· dynamické geometrie ve výuce matematiky. Následuje kapitola se- znamující s úlohami, které jsou v experimentu využity, a popisuje přípravu jednotlivých hodin. Poslední část je věnovaná pr·běhu experimentu, srovnání výsledk· žák· pomocí test· s kontrolní třídou. Získaná data jsou zpracována na základě pozorování a test·. Výsledky pozorování a analýzy potvrzují, že GeoGebra je vhodným doplňkem výuky konstrukce trojúhelník·. 1

Orthogonal axonometry for secondary schools

This work, which is intended for secondary school pupils and teachers, is fo- cused on orthogonal axonometry for pupils and teachers at secondary schools. The thesis consists of exercises, some of them are stepped in presentations and can be found on the attached CD. Templates of models that students can build themselves are included in the first exercises for better understanding. The text is supplemented by the development of orthogonal axonometry and an analysis of the current state of orthogonal axonometry education in the Czech Republic, based on a questionnaire survey and an analysis of textbooks. The theoretical part of the work was prepared for publication on the website. 1

Title: Secondary school chapters from an orthogonal axonometry Author: Lenka Janišová Department: Department of Mathematics Education Supervisor: RNDr. Vlasta Moravcová, Department of Mathematics Education Abstract: The work describes the process displaying the situation in orthogonal axonometry from getting distorted the units on the axes through the constructi- ons of elementary objects up to the theoretical solution of objects sections and displaying more complex objects. It includes tasks for practicing. Some of these tasks are available in presentations, which are adapted for projection by a projec- tor and contain step by step solutions of excercise. Auxiliary models are attached to the tasks at the beginning, which consist of the distorted axes problem, so the tasks can be illustratively visualized. The work is intended for secondary school pupils as a material for self-study, presentations and models can also be used for teaching in the school.
