Information System Generating
Voborník, Petr ; Jirák, Ota (referee) ; Ruttkay, Ladislav (advisor)
The work sets out requirements for the implementation of information systems generator. It deals with finding common elements of information systems. Further it specifies requirements for registration of a conceptual model. Then it goes on to describe user's general point of view of systems. Implementation technologies are chosen and architecture of generated systems is designed based on mentioned analysis. Generated systems are designed to provide basic operations for working with items of the system. Moreover, different ways of generating code are discussed. Metamodel of conceptual model is designed and its possible types of representation are discussed. At the end problems which generator deals with are described.
Design of Hand Blender
Kalenský, Ondřej ; Buganská, Tamara (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the design of ahand blender. The main problems it covers are designing with consideration to blind and old people, clear and natural control and more options for holding the device. The thesis discovers the essence of the process of blending and whisking. Based on this knowledge, the ambition behind the design of the product is to form anew shape which is in harmony with its function. The thesis is marginally focused on the theory of designing and developing anew product and it describes the practical usage of user-friendly design rules.
Characterization of hard rock environment: archive borehole data and conceptual model
Vacková, Alena ; Bruthans, Jiří (advisor) ; Kůrková, Iva (referee)
This study is focused on characterization of the hardrock environment in surroundings of Sazava river. It is based on the archival data of groundwater table in boreholes, results of pumping tests from Geofond database and topographic data (DMR , watercourse, etc.). ArcMap 10.1 and Excel were used for data processing. The relations between the groundwater table depth, water table gradient, specific yield, transmissivity and variety of topographic parameters (distance from a watercourse, elevation, relative elevation above the nearest watercourse, the terrain gradient, etc.) were studied. Close linear relationship exists between the gradient of the terrain and groundwater table (rxy 0.96) in the study area. Groundwater table gradient is on average 88 % of terrain gradient. Mean groundwater table gradient is 10 % (6). The average transmissivity in the area is 1.27 x 10-4 m2 /s, specific yield is usually between 0.01 and 0.1 l/s m. This corresponds to the low and very low transmissivity class. Variability of transmisivity values is high. The difference between transmisivity in discharge and recharge zone, assumed by previous authors, was not confirmed in the study area. Specific base flow calculated from mean transmissivity, terrain/ water table gradient and river network density based on Krásný and...

The development of conceptual nursing models
KLÍMOVÁ, Martina
The bachelor thesis "The Development of Conceptual Nursing Models" has a theoretical character and its aim is to analyse the approach to conceptual models from their very beginning to the present. The thesis is conceived as an analytical study followed by the elaboration of an interpretative text. The method of textual hermeneutics was used for text analysis and subsequent interpretation. The documents obtained were first collected, then analysed and subsequently interpreted. In connection with the analysis of the text, the question was asked: How have the conceptual nursing models been developed over time? The development of nursing models can be traced from the beginning of the professional nursing, dating back to the mid-19th century. Florence Nightingale is considered to be the founder of professional nursing, and although her concept was not taken as a model at first, it is believed it represents the beginning of the development of nursing models. The development of the models has been going on all the time up to the present, and the most important development took place in the 1960s. The development was also affected by the events which occurred at that time in the world, the development of medicine and last but not least, the development of nursing education and the possibility of higher education in the field of nursing. Proper use of conceptual models is important for both nurses and patients. Thanks to the models, nursing is not provided only in accordance with the biomedical model as it used to be in earlier times, but on the contrary there are efforts to use models reflecting holistic approach and humanism. The text shows that the inspiration for nursing comes from the attitude change of nurses to patients and vice versa patients to nurses, as well as the emphasis on meeting the needs of both patients and nurses. The results of the thesis should lead to deeper understanding of the importance of nursing models for nurses working in clinical practice, as well as for students preparing for the nursing profession.
Database design for company Ceskoslovensky autoslalom
Rocheva, Arina ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Tomášková, Barbora (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a database model for Ceskoslovensky autoslalom z. s., which organizes automobile races. The main goal of this thesis is to make a complex database model, corresponding to the current situation of the company. The theoretical part describes the methodology used in this thesis. The practical part contains the database creation process. First, there are identified requirements for the new database system. Then conceptual and physical database designs are following. Database created in the MySQL database system and tested in Microsoft Access. The contribution of the thesis is to ease and optimize data management in the organization after the database implementation.

Design of the database for retail
Bača, Marián ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Kučera, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with analysis and design of database for retail. The goal of this thesis is to create complex database solution covering all needs of the company. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part explains crucial database terms and approach to create a database design. The second part deals with a requirements analysis and the final part deals with the design of the database. I proceeded from the analysis and requirements gath- ering to database modelling and subsequent testing on the school Oracle database server. The supposed contribution should be the creation of database, which will comply with all necessary requirements and at the same time will consolidate all company data at one place which will result in better data handling.
Design of a database for the administration system of projects of a design studio
Sládek, Daniel ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Kučera, Jan (referee)
Objective of the bachelor thesis was to propose a database for the administration of projects of one design studio. In order to fulfil the main objective there were defined partial objectives, such as the analysis of requirements, design of database and the implementation of databases in MySQL. The thesis is divide into theoretical and practical part, while the theoretical part explains the methodology for the design of database in the thesis and the ER model. The practical part contains the analysis of requirements for a database and then the design of a database, when there is the result of model of databases at the end of each level. You will find a conceptual, logical and physical model of the proposed database in the thesis. Then such database is put into operation in MySQL and then the proposed database is verified according to the criterions of fulfilment in the end. Result of the thesis is the proposed database, which a company will use for the creation of system. Everyone, who wants to create its own system for the administration of projects, may be inspired by the proposed database.
