Quality Management System Improvement according to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001

This thesis deals with a detailed analysis of the systems of quality management in a particular company according to EN ISO 9001:2000. The aim of this work is to analyse the system deeply and then focus on how the system could become more effective. In this case the topic was the system of measurement of the customers´satisfaction. In the theoretical part there is the overall view of quality from the historical point of view up to the present. For better understanding of the problem the principles of ISO standards, maintenance of the systems and improvement instruments are mentioned. In the practical part there is the analysis of the particular system of quality management and the process of application of improvement procedures.

Optimization of the concrete composition with the use of recycled concrete aggregates

Concrete as a building material is subject to continuous innovation and thanks to advanced technology and quantum of research, its properties are still improved. It is logical that the more concrete we produce, the more waste it arises. The volume of this waste can not be stored in landfills endlessly, nowadays most of the waste economies in the world are trying to recycle concrete rubble. The recycling is not such a problem, the technology has been long verified but the quality of the recycled concrete aggregate is unquestionably one of the primary assumption which leads to accomplish required properties of concrete. In fact, the recycling process is „crushing“ the concrete into particles with an effort to eliminate the cement paste on the surface of the aggregate. An ideal solution would be create a resistant and firm coating that would adhere perfectly to the cement matrix. This diploma thesis is focused on the properties of recycled concrete aggregate and methods of improvement and optimization of the concrete mix composition.

Process management in chosen small and medium enterprice

The aim was to analyze processes selected SMEs (small and medium enterprises) and to suggest possible improvements in the selection processes. In the initial stage, I deal with study of professional literature Czech and foreign authors. I used the information to write a review of the literature. The Part of my work is devoted to the description of the company and also describe the key processes. The findings gave me the possibility of a comprehensive perspective on the issue and used to create a design of the possible improvements in selected processes.

Quality management

The thesis whose title is "Quality management in chosen company" focused on selected company processes in terms of management and quality assurance. The aim of this thesis was the analysis of the process of quality management in the engineering company TIRAD, s. r. o. located in the Vysočina region. According to the findings of deficiencies in this company were provided suggestions and recommendations to improve these processes. The quality management system and all terms connected with this field were thoroughly described in the theoretical part of this thesis. All information about the quality management was taken from the Czech and English literature. In this part were also used reliable internet sources. The content of the practical part was the analysis of the current quality management system in a chosen company. In the thesis was at first characterized the company and then were also analyzed processes of the quality management system. For the analysis of these processes were used the qualitative methods. Based on the analysis of the quality management system in TIRAD´s company were discovered several flaws.

The Study of Optimization Production Process

Diploma thesis is focused on usability of software AviX and on analysis of selected manufacturing processes for division of transformer in the ABB company. The first part analyzes the usability and suitability of software AviX for the production and thereby confirm or disprove whether it is suitable to continue to invest in the software license. The next section deals with the analysis and work measuring on the selected production workplaces. The draft chapter contains solutions to eliminate waste occurring in the processes.

Streamlining Production Processes in the TCPA Welding Shop

The thesis deals with approaches to improving processes and with application of one to a selected production process. Currently, streamlining processes is of interest to many companies, not only manufacturing ones. The relevance of the topic is also evidenced by the number of publications devoted to this very issue. The aim of the thesis is to propose improvements in manufacturing processes in the welding shop through Jiskuhen activities used in Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech s.r.o. The first part of the thesis defines terms related to processes and their management, followed by description of some of the widely used improvement approaches and their basic assumptions. The other part of the thesis focuses on the description of Jishuken activities and their subsequent practical application within the company. The thesis offers concrete proposals for improving processes and also recommendations for the management of these activities. This thesis demonstrates the philosophy of continuous improvement in the company, which serves as a reference point for other companies in the area of streamlining of processes.
